Established in 2018, [[https://saxodramaticus.wordpress.com/ Saxo Dramaticus]] (previously called Kivutar's Klassics) features {{MST}}-style retellings of great world literature. Often, the plots are functionally identical to the original works, the biggest difference being the inherent insanity of the characters/situations they're in is highlighted. Also notable is the site's choice of material, focusing on some classic literature which may be less well-known to the average reader.

Works by this website include:

* ''Fanfic/FarceOfTheThreeKingdoms'' (a humorous retelling of ''Literature/RomanceOfTheThreeKingdoms''; complete)
* ''Kalevala, Land of "Heroes"'' (a humorous retelling of ''Literature/TheKalevala''; complete)
* ''Gigglemesh'' (a humorous retelling of ''Literature/TheEpicOfGilgamesh''; complete)
* ''Fanfic/NjalGetsBurned'' (a humorous retelling of ''[[Literature/NjalsSaga The Saga of Burned Njal]]''; in progress as of January 2022)

There are also a couple of shorter works, including two chapters of a retelling of the Mahabaharta by a guest contributor and a retelling of a portion of the Bible.

!! Tropes present throughout Saxo Dramaticus:

* EarlyBirdCameo: Soon before publishing of ''Gigglemesh'' began, the background changed to some early Mesopotamian Bas-relief to prefigure it. Background updates have continued to herald new works since.
* WorldOfSnark: Often present within the retold works.
