* WhatDoYouMeanItWasntMadeOnDrugs: This happens In-Universe with the Zeroworld game. Default, the main writer of the game, wrote most of the game based on the visions he experienced while under the influence of psycholy. The game is surprisingly coherent for something written under the influence of drugs, but paints a dark picture of humanity's future. It also later happens with Bracey. After attempting suicide by taking a massive dose of psycholy, he starts NoticingTheFourthWall and begins working on the Hollow Crowns module, which is both a bizarre art project reflecting on his relationship with Default, and also an experiment in finding a way to escape from the story's narrative. You may also have a lot of questions about what sort of mental state the author of Goodbye Stranger was in when he designed the monsters and concepts that it features.

* BlessedWithSuck: Being a sensitive has a lot of downsides. Sensitives can see strangers, but many varieties of strangers attack sensitives or have negative effects on nearby sensitives so being a sensitive can put you in a lot of danger. Dissembler-sensitives are the lucky ones because they are immune to most stranger abilities and can permanently make a stranger inactive with a touch.

* GenreShift: In the early days of the website, STRANGERS was primarily a MonsterCompendium with only small hints of Worldbuilding and a larger plot. Over the years the focus of the website has been shifting away from the strangers themselves and focusing more on the characters who live in the Goodbye Strangers universe and now it has a much clearer storyline and a more fleshed out world. It now has elements of many genres including QueerRomance and Cyberpunk.

Cool Pet is now a disambig

* CoolPet: Many people keep less dangerous varieties of stranger as pets. The Sweeter Smoke module is a website that rates how good different strangers are as pets. Kazma Bones, who runs the website, has a very large collection of stranger pets. And the Eraserlist module is a website where people buy and sell strangers.
