** ''Everyone Is Home'' had a big one where Sephiroth kills the Smash roster.

* LevelGrinding: After discovering that his Scourbunny starter is actually an illegal immigrant Level 60 Zoroark, he lets him stay under the condition that he allows his Grokeys to K.O. him, allowing them to instantly level up to Level 38 and resemble Jojo characters.

Doomslayer doesn't fall for it though.

* TalkingAnimal: Some Pokémon in the series like Zoroark and Pangoro are perfectly capable of human speech. {{Downplayed}} since some Pokémon still use PokemonSpeak.

** OneUp: Mario's green mushrooms, Donkey Kong's life balloons, ''Ice Climber'' corn, ''Castlevania'' magic crystals, Mega Man's head, and giving a paper cutout of "1-Up" to Mr. Game & Watch.
** EveryTenThousandPoints: Directly from the above, 100 points and 3 rings in ''Star Fox'', 100 rings for Sonic, this score in ''F-Zero'' and ''Pac-Man''.
** ExpendableClone: Yoshi just comes from an egg, Piranha Plant's body drops a seed, Isabelle hails from one of the many abandoned ''Animal Crossing'' cities.
** NotQuiteDead: Kirby was there all along, Samus was only her suit as she calls in from [[VideoGame/MetroidDread ZDR]].

** AutoRevive: ''Zelda'' Fairies, K. Rool revives with a Blood Moon like monsters of ''Breath of the Wild'', Meta Knight comes back in [[VideoGame/EldenRing Stormveil Castle]], the Mii Channel brings the Miis back.
** DivineIntervention: Malanya revives Duck Hunt after being told the dog is a horse, [[OlympusMons Arceus and Xerneas]] revive the dead Pokémon, a Waddle Dee wishes Dedede back to life.
** ResurrectTheVillain: The evil Yiga Clan revives Ganondorf.
** MagicalDefibrillator: Pikachu and Pichu are simply shocked back to life.
** RestingRecovery: Onett's hospital revives Ness and Lucas, camping revives Hero.
** RescuedFromTheUnderworld: The Doom Slayer brought in Bayonetta, Villager, and the dead Isabelle (from then on referred to as "Isabelle 1") from Hell.
** RespawnPoint: Olimar and Alph are planted by Pikmin (and somehow it works for Ridley too), Steve awakens in the last bed that he slept in, a ''Splatoon'' one is started for the Inklings.
** RuleOfFunny: Simply yelling "Round 2: Fight!" revives the fighter game characters, three ''Xenoblade'' healers using their spells on Shulk works just fine, and sun-loving characters do a Sun Salutation for the Wii Fit Trainer.
* TheDreaded: Kirby for many powerful beings. Doom Slayer too, specially for Sephiroth.
* DudeMagnet: Pyra and Mythra cause a really big impact in the men of the Smash House.
* EverybodysDeadDave: The ''Everybody Is Home'' series starts with the then-latest ''SSBU'' addition, Kazuya, arriving at the Smash Bros. home only to discover Sephiroth had poisoned everyone. (aside from Incineroar, who was trapped in a cell for trying to leak that the ''Tekken'' fighter was coming)

* OddFriendship: While the Smash cast as whole hanging around together is bound to have this, ''Everybody Is Home'' has a very proeminent case in Kazuya and Incineroar.

* {{Troll}}: Sephiroth, being a villain by origin. Incineroar also had a big moment when reviving the ''Mario'' characters.
