(In his case, it's the audience getting to know him better, though lately ''some'' people have been doing a good job in inadvertently drawing him out of his shell...) Chie's design changed more than the others', too, and her cheerful and outgoing behavior subsequently came off clearer than when she'd first appeared.

* LoveBubbles: Chie has them and [[BishieSparkle sparkles]] in Jiro-Vision.

* RunningGag: The brothers failing to get Chie's name until the actual date proper.

* WebcomicTime: Although the strip has run for nearly seven years as of the time of this writing, only about a week of real time has passed in the story so far.

From there, more and more mayhem, both comedic and otherwise, is piled onto the cast, and while it eventually serves to be [[FireForgedFriends the glue that holds them together,]] they must find a way to make it through in their own clumsy way, and [[Funny/{{Sakana}} keep us laughing all the while.]]

In his first real appearance alone, he [[spoiler:is shown to be harassing Yuudai with text messages, shows up at his work unannounced acting insulting and manipulative, and outs him to Jiro when he won't leave work for a talk.]] If he has redeeming qualities, they haven't been shown yet.

* ImpliedDeathThreat: When Genji shows some reluctance going along with [[FauxAffablyEvil Ryoji]]'s plan, [[spoiler:([[WhamLine persuading Uncle Ren to give up Sakana stall]], so [[{{Yakuza}} Ryoji]] can use it for his own shady business),]] he delivers one of these, directed at the poor Genji.

* {{Jerkass}}: Yuudai certainly acts this way, but some panels indicate that it's actually just him being fed up with life and having no trust into people. Because if someone (Read: [[LoveYouAndEverybody Taisei]]) would strip Yuudai out of all his layers of his [[BuffySpeak Jerkass-ness]], then it shows that he is actually just a shy and a quite lonely person.

* BunnyEarsLawyer: Despite being the silly, adorable, [[HorribleJudgeOfCharacter naive]] man that he is, Taisei also is the assistant director for a pretty big company and is probably the smartest man of the cast.

* GentleGiant: Taisei is the largest member of the cast (and that's saying something), and he's also the kindest and the happiest.

This also applies to the time when Taro was a [[{{Delinquents}} delinquent]], but then it was taken to rather hilarious extremes:
