* FurryComic: None of the characters actually have fur (the whole point of it is to show that even animals that aren't cute and fuzzy are still cute, but it's still a comic which is really only funny because the characters are snakes.

''[[http://mylittlepython.blogspot.com My Little Python]]'' is a webcomic about cute kid-like snakes living cute kid-like lives. At the same time, it sneakily introduces facts about snakes to its target audience of kid readers. That's it. Sometimes it has a plot, sometimes it doesn't. And yet it's oddly pleasing.

Getting Crap Past The Radar needs to discuss how it actually got past the radar, it's not simply any innuendo (and if it's a web work, then lack of a radar disqualifies it)

* GettingCrapPastTheRadar: The entirety of Stripie's Lesson on Inappropriate TV. Basically, it focuses on Stripie discovering porn and kids get to learn, in fairly good detail, about how snakes reproduce. Also, a garter snake breeding ball (which Stripie was watching) is basically a massive, tangled up dervish of group sex. This is only appropriate for a children's webcomic because it's not a human orgy. But an orgy nonetheless!

* ActingYourIntellectualAge: Caramel Apple, as far as we can tell, is very, very mature and smart, to the point of acting like a parent who's several times the age of the other pythons.
* AdorablyPrecociousChild: Somewhat with Tangerinei although she might be a little bit to old for it to really work.

* BackToSchool: Little Pythons at School, Sweet Grapevine Vs. Middle School...there's a different back-to-school arc every year!
* ChildProdigy: All the Little Pythons are gifted in some way, with Stripie Snakie being the imaginative and very good at learning what he wants to learn kind of gifted, Tangerinei being more traditionally scientifically gifted, and Sweet Grapevine and Caramel Apple being very good at particular skills.

* ReptilesAreAbhorrent: Averted. The entire webcomic is dedicated to reversing this trope, to the point of making reptiles so cute it's nauseating.

* ScienceFair: Serpentville Science Fair.
* SchoolOfNoStudying: As far as we can tell, the Little Pythons only go to school to socialize and never actually do any work. Although, schoolwork is sometimes referenced like in Stripie's arc with the hypothetical computer replacement.
* ShouldntWeBeInSchoolRightNow: A lot of the arcs take place during time when the Little Pythons really should be in school. Like, shouldn't Stripie be studying and not getting forced to use dial-up Internet so he gets a lesson about using too much bandwidth? Although, partially averted as it's never stated when the story arcs take place. It's possible that all arcs that don't take place at school are during summer or the weekend, although this seems unlikely.

* TastesLikeDiabetes: Every single character except Fang and Windows XP. They're all so utterly cute, sweet, kind, helpful, and brightly colored that if it wasn't for sarcasm and getting crap past the radar, you'd throw up as soon as you saw them. Fang and XP balance this out by providing a healthy dose of sarcasm and at times, some legitimate meanness. It's also insanely unrealistic. Sweet Grapevine is the popular girl who everybody wants to be. And she's happily friends with everybody and feels no disdain for lesser beings whatsoever. What is up with her?

* [=Animal Stereotypes=]: Fang. He's a rat and displays a lot of stereotypical rat traits, like infesting the pantry and being generally annoying. There are no bad characters in My Little Python, but Fang comes pretty close. Also, reversed with EVERY SINGLE CHARACTER EXCEPT FANG. They're all reptiles and amphibians and they're all nice, sweet, helpful, and kind.
* [=Colour-Coded for Your Convenience=]: The four main characters. In their original forms (before The Great Snake got lazy and removed the spots), Caramel Apple was green with brown spots, which The Great Snake thought resembled a caramel apple. Sweet Grapevine was purple and green, vaguely resembling a grapevine. Tangerinei was thus named because she was orange like a tangerine. Stripie Snakie is named because he's a snake who has stripes. Sigh.
* [=Cute Little Fangs=]: Every venomous snake has these, even characters like Albert Spinestein from Serpentville Science Fair, who's supposed to be a Gaboon Viper, the snake with the world's longest fangs.
* [=Edutainment Show=]: My Little Python isn't a webcomic. It's a snake advocacy campaign focusing on kids and teaching kids that snakes are awesome and that they should donate their allowances to various snake organizations. The webcomic just thinly disguises that.
* [=Furry Comic=]: None of the characters actually have fur (the whole point of it is to show that even animals that aren't cute and fuzzy are still cute, but it's still a comic which is really only funny because the characters are snakes.

This is only appropriate for a children's webcomic because it's not a human orgy. But an orgy nonetheless!
* [=Parental Substitute=]: None of the characters in My Little Python have parents because most snakes don't care for their kids. But, Caramel Apple, despite not actually being older than the other characters, acts as this, and the unnamed rattlesnake whose will to live is driving the Little Pythons places because Caramel Apple can't drive.
* [=Reptiles are Abhorrent=]: Averted. The entire webcomic is dedicated to reversing this trope, to the point of making reptiles so cute it's nauseating.
* [=Snakes are Sinister=]: See Reptiles are Abhorrent.
* [=Sssssnaketalk=]: Used in a cutesy way with positive "S" words. Example: "Now that's a sssweet treat!"

* [=What Measure is a Non-Human?=]: Stripie's Lesson on Inappropriate TV is only appropriate for a family-friendly blog because it's snakes having sex. Averted in general as one of the main points of My Little Python is that "Snakes are people too!" and that an animal life should be valued as much as a human life.
* [=You Dirty Rat=]: Fang can be cute when he wants to be, but most of the time, he's annoying, disgusted, or legitimately mean.
