Steffi Frohlich is a hyperactive teenage girl who spends her free time playing video games and competing in the Junior Robot Battle League. When she receives a brand new MiniMecha shaped like a kiwi for her 14th birthday, she has a brilliant idea: why not use it to fight crime, like a real-life {{superhero}}?

''[[http://www.kiwiblitz.com Kiwi Blitz]]'' is a {{webcomic}} by Creator/MaryCagle (known elsewhere on the net as one of a number of variations of "Cube Watermelon"). It usually updates on a weekly or biweekly schedule, depending on how busy the watermelon is.

The main character is 14-year-old Steffi Frohlich, who under the guise of "Blitz" fights crime in a future UsefulNotes/NewYorkCity using her bird-shaped MiniMecha, Kiwibot. She's assisted in this by her best friend Benzene, her billionaire father, and a RobotGirl named 42. Of course, that's just what she does during her free time, when she's not busy with her day job as a junior Robot Battle League combatant.

Along with the ill-equipped NYPD, Steffi/Blitz battles masked criminals, rogue military hardware, and most importantly, her own boredom.

Given the anime influence, it's easy to assume that these are natural hair colors. However, over time, these are revealed to be the products of hair dye or wigs.

* WorldOfTechnicolorHair: : Subverted. Some characters have outlandish hair colors, such as Steffi (pink), Reed (green), Gear (blue), and Steffi's dad's assistant (purple).
