* BuffySpeak: Frigg in general. Highlighted in her daydream during her attempts at diplomacy (without violence) with the gnomes.

* DontExplainTheJoke: Inverted. Gravedust, easily the member of the cast most lacking in comedic ability, ends up having to pretend to be a comedian on a stage. He tells a mediocre joke about misfortune which the audience finds increasingly hilarious as he begins to explain how the joke actually depicts a very tragic situation and questions the audience's mirth.

Either they are: xenophobic, condescendent, tyrannical, downright genocidial or all of the above. * InnerMonologue: Byron does this whenever he is alone. Usually it's tactical planning and combat advice, to the point that the AltText has called him "the [[BurnNotice Michael Weston]] of Arkerra]]."
