The premise of the story is based on the oft used FandomSpecificPlot where Chibi Usa is reunited with Helios in the 30th century (something that the artist herself acknowledges), but the mystery behind Shou's identity and the detail the artist puts into her work (not to mention the fact that her art is incredibly similar to Naoko Takeuchi's style) has this troper hooked.

* Continuation: The story is a continuation of the original manga canon, though the artist states the comic will also be a bit of a PatchworkFic, as she’ll be borrowing some personality traits of the Amazones Quartet from the 90’s anime for the Asteroid Quartet, who were not given well-defined personalities in the original manga.

The comic is posted on Mangaka-chan's [[http://mangaka-chan.deviantart.com/gallery/45762134/Sailor-Moon-doujinshi-Future-Reunion DeviantArt page]] as well as on her [[http://mangakachan.tumblr.com/tagged/sailor%20moon%20doujinshi%20future%20reunion Tumblr]].

!!Future Reunion has examples of:
*Allegory: When Chibi Usa and company visits Shou’s family gallery in Act 3, they are shown the tapestry “The Lady and the Unicorn”. Shou explains to them that in legends the unicorn would lay down its life for a pure, young maiden, [[spoiler: an allusion to how Pegasus/Helios willingly appeared before Queen Nehellenia after she kidnapped Chibi Moon in the 90's anime]].
*AmnesiacLover: Shou might be this, given how much he resembles Helios. But foreshadowing from recent chapters hints at the possibility that he could also a case of [[spoiler: ResurrectedRomance]].
*ArtisticLicense–Technology: Although the story takes place in the 30th century, with the exception of some computer screens in the Crystal Palace, the technology people are seen using (smart phones, cars) are distinctly 21st century.
*BigEater: The Quartet seem to be this (though the poised Ceres might have more self-control than her sisters) during their visit to the Hinowa Gallery, as they scarf down the excellent pastries and tea cakes made by the twin maids, Asako and Yuuko, much to Chibi Usa’s embarrassment.
*BlessedWithSuck: Shou’s dreams/visions are also accompanied by a painful, burning sensation in his chest, which made his parents and the other adults around him think he has a medical condition. [[spoiler: He believes if he finds the girl he sees in a recurring dream, then she can tell him why he has these powers.]]
*CanonDiscontinuity: The original Sailor Guardians are shown in their Super form while Chibi Usa, Hotaru, and the Quartet are shown in their Eternal form. The artist states the reason for this is because in the final Stars arc of the manga, the costumes of the original Sailor Guardians reverted from their Eternal form back to their Super form in the 30th century. However, no explanation was ever given for this change, and the general Fanon is that they powered down to conserve energy in the relatively peaceful era of Crystal Tokyo.
*ChickMagnet: Shou is this for some of his female classmates, who find him both rich and handsome.
*Continuation: The story is a continuation of the original manga canon, though the artist states the comic will also be a bit of a PatchworkFic, as she’ll be borrowing some personality traits of the Amazones Quartet from the 90’s anime for the Asteroid Quartet, who were not given well-defined personalities in the original manga.
*DarkAndTroubledPast: Shou’s parents died during the Black Moon’s attack on Crystal Tokyo and their death evidently still affects him.
*DreamingOfTimesGoneBy: Chibi Usa has a dream of briefly meeting Helios when she was young, before the Death Phantom attacked Crystal Tokyo for the first time.
*DreamingOfThingsToCome: When Shou was young he would some times have dreams about future events, but the adults around him attributed his dreams to coincidences, or dismiss them as a child’s attempt at getting attention from his parents.
*EveryoneCallsHimBarkeep Enemy With No Name: The enemy currently is unnamed, so the characters simply call her “the enemy”.
*EnergyAbsorption: The enemy gains strength in her search for the Covenant by draining the energy of people in Crystal Tokyo, much like villains did in the early arcs of the original series.
*GirlOfMyDreams: Shou has recurring dreams of a tearful young woman, standing before the Crystal Palace, promising him that they will meet again. [[spoiler: The vision became more vivid after Chibi Usa transforms in his vicinity, and leads him to wonder if Neo Sailor Moon/Princess Lady Serenity is the girl he in his dreams.]]
*GoodParents: Neo Queen Serenity and King Endymion wait for their daughter to come home at the Palace entrance so they can ask about her day, and Neo Queen Serenity looks forward to celebrating her birthday with Chibi Usa at the Masquerade Ball. However, there are strong hints that they’re hiding sort of AwfulTruth from their daughter after Chibi Usa tells them she’s met someone who resembles Helios.
*InvisibleToNormals: Subverted, as Chibi Usa and Hotaru both immediately notice the striking similarity between Shou and Helios. However, while Chibi Usa initially dismisses the resemblance as a coincidence, Hotaru seems to think otherwise.
*MacabreMothMotif: Silver moths would appear whenever the enemy is close by, and could even be found on potential victims before she strikes.
*MacGuffin: The enemy seeks something called the Covenant. Initially no one has any idea what it is, where it is, or what it looks like. Later on in a flash back between [[spoiler: young Pluto and Queen Serenity]] it’s revealed that the Covenant is [[spoiler: the gift of life given to the Earth by Father Sun,]] but the sailor senshi still have no clue where it might be or what it looks like.
*MasqueradeBall: A special event to celebrate the Queen’s ascension, as well as hers and the Princess’ birthdays. Shou is keen to attend the ball [[spoiler: so he can get inside the Palace to try and find the girl he sees in his dream]].
*MeaningfulName: Shou Hinowa means “shinning sun”. Asako and Yuuko’s names mean “morning child” and “evening child”, respectively.
*{{Meido}}: Shou’s twin maids, Asako and Yuuko, [[spoiler: who are clearly based on the Maenads, the twin priestess of Elysion]].
*MementoMacGuffin: The Crystal Carillon is Chibi Usa’s memento from Helios. Interestingly, Shou identifies the sound the carillon makes as the same bell ringing sound he hears in his RecurringDreams.
*OrdinaryHighSchoolStudent: Despite being Sailor Guardians, Chibi Usa, Hotaru, and the Sailor Quartet go about their days in Juuban Junior High School together as normal students.
*PaperThinDisguise: Chibi Usa goes to public school as a normal student, but nobody calls her out as the princess, even though they have the same distinctive hair style. This is lampshaded by Shou when he wonders if Chibi Usa is a fan of the royal family, and is copying the princess’ hair style.
*{{Pastiche}}: The artist’s style is very similar to Naoko Takeuchi’s, right down to the flowy hair.
*PrincelyYoungMan: Shou is the heir of Hinowa Gallery Group, an internationally renowned fine arts auction company, and is a polite, well-mannered young man.
*RapunzelHair: The enemy Chibi Usa and friends face has "very" long hair.
*RenaissanceMan: In addition to his extensive knowledge of art history (thanks to his family’s fine arts auction business) and running said family business on his own, Shou is fond of classical literature and prefers to spend his lunch break reading Virgil’s, "The Aenead".
*RoyalsWhoActuallyDoSomething: As Neo Sailor Moon, Chibi Usa protects Crystal Tokyo and the Earth from threats. Also, her parents and the original Sailor Guardians work to find information on the new enemy after it attacks Shou’s gallery.
*SavingTheWorld: This appears to be the enemy’s motivation for coming to Earth, as she’s searching for the Covenant that will give her world a chance at life.
*SpellMyNameWithAnS: The Quartet’s civilian names are abbreviated and spelled based on their Japanese romanji pronunciation, such that Cere-Cere is “Sere”, Palla-Palla is “Para”, Jun-Jun is “Jun”, and Ves-Ves is “Besu”. The artist justifies the spelling based on the fact that in Japanese there are no “c”, “l”, or “v” sounds.
*StepfordSmiler: When an old friend of his parents inquires about the his chest pains and the implications of the strange dreams he had as a child, Shou, with a polite smile, assures them it was only a childhood illness that has now passed. It hasn’t.
*SupremeChef: The twin maids, Asako and Yuuko are this, judging by how enthusiastic the Quartet are about their food.
*TheStoic: Shou comes off as rather aloof when he declined a classmate’s invitation to join their school’s literature club. When asked by a friend, the classmate describes him as polite, but with a “faraway look in his eyes…like he’s lost in thought about something.”
