* {{Hypocrite}}: Mr. Castle goes on a long tirade about how disgusted he is with the people of Midnight City for "chasing the cheapest cunt and shooting the scummiest skag up their wrists" instead of trying to improve their quality of life, considering himself better than the masses. After he tells Josiah that [[NotSoDifferentRemark he knows that he feels the same]], Josiah [[ShutUpHannibal rebuts]] by saying that nobody chooses to live that life, and that as a high ranking member of Double Helix, it's partially Castle's fault that they have to live like that to begin with.

In the remake of Chapter 1 his eyes are closer together and his comically large nose and signature butt chin are shrunk down significantly and look more proportionate. Set in the year 2030 in [[WretchedHive Midnight City]], the story follows Josiah Jones. An Ex-Convict trying to start a new life for himself, only to be pushed back into the world of crime despite his attempts to change. Later on he has a fateful meeting with Davis Lombardi, a man on a mission to purge the corruption and crime in the city, who wants Josiah's help in doing so. Josiah reluctantly agrees and the two begin their journey. However there will be many obstacles in their path. Such as various members of Double Helix, the gang with a stronghold over the city. To make things worse, some of the members are even stand users.

Culture Shock is also available on [[https://mangadex.org/title/fd72c194-8d6a-4fc5-84a1-17f2cbc1a660/jojo-s-bizarre-adventure-culture-shock-doujinshi Mangadex]] and it even has a [[https://www.webtoons.com/en/challenge/jojos-bizarre-adventure-culture-shock-espa%C3%B1ol/list?title_no=821709 Spanish Translation]].
