In one instance, for little to no reason (except maybe to make traversal faster) he built a rail leading into the cave system he was exploring, and before he went to sleep, took a ride on the rail just for fun while there were Phantoms roaming about. [[spoiler:Sleep deprivation, unfortunately, is not the deepest slope for Steve as he grows genuinely unhinged even when he does get sleep as he has the Wither and the Ender Dragon in his head.]]

Not helping matters is that he finds himself being attacked by Phantoms, much to the Wither's concern and advises Steve to go to sleep.
