Not only that, but ''another'' Jehn (and maybe a Jahn) assimilate Jack&Jill, casting doubt on whether all of them are truly as benevolent as the ending would suggest. Also, Vinny's attempts to reassure the viewers come off as SuspiciouslySpecificDenial...]]

* The ''Tomodachi Collection' corruptions feature [[spoiler:Vineschnoz]]. Guess who Vinny adds in [[spoiler:Episode 50]]?

** Giving white bread to islanders as their first food was an early one, but it faded out quickly. Another early one was using the word "fist" in songs.

** "Fop", which was originally used as a nonsensical replacement for "stop" in "Livin' the Dream" (likely because of [[VulgarHumor its resemblance to "fap"]]) and later shows up in the final line of episode 50's song.

** The long-awaited 50th episode begins with the news, as usual. [[spoiler:Except the newscaster is someone we've never seen before (later revealed to be [[Series/TheXFiles Dana Scully]]).]] Then it cuts to the islanders' thoughts, and the first one up is [[spoiler:[[Series/TheXFiles Fox Mulder]], who ''also'' had never been seen before.]]

* CastOfSnowflakes: No Vineland Island member is alike. You've got original characters made from Vinesauce in-jokes or just for the game, original characters based off of existing franchises, characters taken from all kinds of media (mainly video games and TV), real-life celebrities, generic characters from Mii-making instruction sites that are given much more character, a few anthropomorphic foods and animals, and, of course, Vinny himself.

* CruelPlayerCharacterGod: While Vinny is mostly benevolent when caring for his islanders, he can go into this ''very'' easily. Purposefully feeding someone their least favorite food, giving them embarrassing outfits or bad apartments, refusing their requests for food and other things, deliberately failing their marriage attempts, [[spoiler:evicting them for doing something that slightly annoys him]], the list goes on.

** Vineland Island is hinted to be this, as no one knows how they got there or what's underneath it.

* AbhorrentAdmirer: Alpaca to Vinesauce, in Vinny's opinion: he consistently resists any attempt to get them together, and [[spoiler:when they try to do so he immediately splits them up]].

* AnyoneCanDie: While Vinny has made his eviction/killing powers known, he doesn't use it except to get rid of the most useless islanders. That being said, he has gotten rid of some of the more prominent ones, mainly [[spoiler:Bonzi Buddy (although it's been said that he was merely evicted)]].

* BodyHorror: A theme among the Miis: Two-Faced has two faces with a conjoined eye, Jack & Jill is one body with two people inhabiting it, and Jaxon was born with a nose ''inside his lips''.

* ShoutOut: [[Music/TalkingHeads "LOVE HAS COME TO TOWN!"]]

* WhamShot: Early on in Episode 47, Vinny is searching around the apartments, and casually comes across [[spoiler:[=HOTDOG=]]]. Who, if you recall, [[spoiler:was removed from the island '''25''' episodes prior]].

* SelfDeprication: The penultimate line of "The World's End?" is "This tomodachi shiit has got to stop".

* OddNameOut: The "Four Jabronis" band that was made in Episode 50 has four members: Vinesauce, Vlinny, [[spoiler:Vineschnoz]], and... Sponge. Doubles as a TheLastOfTheseIsNotLikeTheOthers, as Sponge isn't a Vinny clone like the rest.

** [[FailureIsTheOnlyOption Karl's hopeless love life]]. In contrast with Vinesauce, his failures at getting girls have happened so often that it's treated as less sad and more hilarious.

* SeriesFauxnale: Episode 50 was speculated to be the end, partially because of Vinny admitting that the series had grown a bit stale and partially due to the [[spoiler:Jahn invasion plotline seemingly climaxing at the perfect point]]. Vinny stated (slightly ambiguously) that it wouldn't be the end, but the episode certainly fits the bill somewhat (with [[spoiler:the Jahns [[AntiClimax anticlimatically leaving]] and everything returning to normal, not to mention [[TheyDo Vinesauce and Cling On getting together]]). At the very end, Vinny states that the series would likely end later, and implied that they wouldn't be as frequent.

** David Bowie was going to be sent to space by giving him pocket money. However, [[spoiler:as of Episode 50, Vinny plans on sending Vlinny to space instead, not even mentioning Bowie]].

* NeverSpeakIllOfTheDead: Averted; Vinny directly states that [[spoiler:the assimilated islanders were all "unfunny twats", and doesn't care that they're either dead or Jahns/Jehns. He does seem to miss Levi, however, as he states a little sadly that it leaves Haley as the only child on the island]].

** Early on, Vinny tried to establish a love triangle between Vinesauce, Waluigi, and Two-Faced. This faded away for several reasons, including Two-Faced getting with Walrus, Waluigi making it clear that we won't leave Witch, and more islanders opening the way for more relationships.
