* ButtMonkey: Nothing ever goes right for Rubeus. He's forced to work with the Ayakashi Sisters (despite his hatred for woman), cannot get the respect of his fellow Black Moon members at all and he's the only one that gets affected by [[TheLoad Sailor Mercury]]'s attacks. He also dies in a very pathetic way, trying to destroy his ship in order to kill the Sailor Scouts, only for the collapsing debris to fall on him.

* TheCuckoolanderWasRight: When Mina wonders what Raye does with red-colored cotton, Artemis says [[BadPeopleAbuseAnimals she uses it for her stuffed toys in order to torture them in a more realistic way]]. Mina and Lita shrug it off, but at the end of the episode turns out he's right. He's also the one who gives Serena the idea to purify the Ayakashi Sisters.

* DoesNotLikeMen: PlayedForLaughs. Petz has a grudge against men in general but Calaveras points out she's just embittered that Saphir broke up with her in the past.

** In an early episode, Petz tells Calaveras that her ex-boyfriend has a "sexy, alluring voice". 5 episodes later it's revealed her ex is Saphir, who's TheUnintelligible.

** After Saphir leaves to convince Demande about Wiseman's true colors, the Ayakashi Sisters try to make him stay so he won't be killed by Wiseman, but in the end Petz gives up, stating that "there's nothing else we can do now". Sure enough, that episode is their last appearance.

* HeManWomanHater: Rubeus does not like women and thinks they're all moody and useless. That's the reason why he abuses the Ayakashi Sisters so much.

** In Episode 10 Petz tells Calaveras that she doesn't like Esmeraude because she's a "green-haired bitch".

* NotCompletelyUseless: Sailor Mercury is useless as usual during fights, but later episodes show she's very good at gaslighting people, such as when she manipulates Berthier to turn to the side of good.

* MakingLoveInAllTheWrongPlaces: In Episode 17, it's implied Petz rapes the gravely injured Saphir. Berthir is not amused, since they're using her bed.

* PetTheDog: Raye is still a jerkass, but she's much nicer towards Rini. In Episode 9 she also helps Koan to accept her inner sadistic side....by convincing her to become a satanist.

* AdaptationDeviation: The Mexican dub made several changes to the abridged. For example, the first season ended with the defeat of Queen Beryl and they made their own second season, the ''Sailor Moon R'' series.
* AdaptationalNameChange: Raye's two ravens, Phobos and Deimos, are renamed Bloody and Dagger. Rather fitting considering Abridged!Raye's default emotion is [[AxCrazy unyielding rage]].

* BiTheWay: The villain of TheMovie turns out to be Darien's NewOldFlame. That is, a guy. Although the relationship doesn't seem to have been healthy.

* NeverLiveItDown: In-Universe. Melvin torments Molly with Nephlite's death repeatedly.
** In a minor scale, both Serena and Amy stop trusting Luna after she confused Amy for a monster of the Negaverse for a few episodes.

Seeing that it's been since 2012 since any new videos have been put up, it's probably safe to assume this series has gone the way of the dinosaurs. However, in May 2014 [=KrisRix=] announced that the team intended to eventually fulfill their promise of at least completing the remaining two episodes of the ''Doom Tree'' arc. As of October 2016, though, nothing has been uploaded, nor has there been any update on the series, so it's safe to assume it has now been scrapped.
