AnalogyBackfire: While talking by the campfire, Keane reassures Jarid that they'll make it out alive because their story is crazy enough for Hollywood to make a movie about, and what movie kills off the main characters? Jarid proceeds to list several popular movies where the main characters die.

BerserkButton: Don't suggest going to the beach to Jarid. Or kill Keane's best friend.

BigLippedAlligatorMoment: Keane's nightmare has no lead in or warning. We just cut from our protagonists walking away from a burning house and field of dead zombies, to Keane waking up in an office chair, being handed a sword and blue top hat, and being told to go save his friend. He then pulls a rabbit out of said top hat. It only gets weirder from there.

Determinator: Keane and Brandon. Keane gets up from being nearly blown up and immediately runs into a burning building to save his friend. He only stops when a pile of debris falls on him. Brandon runs in to get him out without hesitation.

FireOfComfort: Keane and Jarid sit next to one after the former wakes up from a series of nightmares.

EatenAlive: Quinton tries to abandon the group, taking their guns with him. It doesn't work out well for him.

GoryDiscretionShot: Jarid gores a zombie in the stomach with a shovel, the camera cuts to the zombies point of view. Probably just an artistic choice given how violent the rest of the show is.


HeroicBSOD: Discussed and mildly zigzagged. Keane has a nightmare after Elijah's death, then wakes up to talk to Jarid. They point out that other than that, everyone is taking the zombie apocalypse really well. Keane wonders if this makes them sociopaths.

ImprobableAimingSkills: Brandon shoots a zombie off of Keane. It takes him a few tries, but both Keane and the zombie are about a quarter mile away at this point, and he still manages to hit it square in the chest. With a normal handgun. One handed. At night.
