** Nathaniel was a young orphan in the streets until he had been adopted by a high ranking official. His adoptive father raised him and inspired him to pursue law and justice. [[spoiler:However, there was a case where a murderer that had been declared innocent decided to kill the judge of his case just because he felt invincible for escaping his crime. Nathaniel wanted to use his charm magic to make the murderer confess, but his father denied him that. Frustrated, Nathaniel got rid of his father by using charm magic to make his father falsely admit to necromancy. Since then, Nathaniel got a good reputation for exposing a "necromancy" and eventually became the Witch Taker.]]

Magnus didn't care why Bloodstride is helping, as he planned to kill the necromancer anyways. But Luna made it clear to Magnus that the Bloodstride is helping Magnus because the necromancer ''wants'' Cloveway to be attacked in order to make necromancers more desperate and angry enough to support the Spine of Death.]]
