''Lore Kindled'' is fan webcomic based on ''WebComic/LoreOlympus'', written and illustrated by generic puff. It is intended as a reinterpretation of the comic, complete with new art and a rewritten storyline.

As is the original, the story focuses on the growing relationship between [[Myth/ClassicalMythology Persephone and Hades]] and all the conflict that comes with it, as the two soon grow closer and closer.

The comic can be read on both [[https://genericpuff.tumblr.com/post/706803706227834880/lore-rekindled-master-post-read-below Tumblr]] and [[https://us.dillyhub.com/project/43a0834fa013bb7 Dillyhub]].

!!Provides examples of:
* AdaptationalDeviation: Being a rewrite of the original ''Lore Olympus'', ''Rekindled'' significantly rewrites parts of the story:
** Persephone and Hades meet much earlier than in the original comic, as in here, they have a chitchat over drinks and Persephone gives her heels to him since it is hurting her feet.
** In the original, Persephone ends up in Hades' car and place due to Eros (by request of his mother Aphrodite after hearing that Persephone is more beautiful than her) intentionally making her as drunk as possible and planting her in Hades' car, believing that she would think that Hades was the one who did. Here, it is due to Persephone getting herself way more drunk than she intended and then accidentally stumbling into Hades' car, with Hades' chauffeur, Charon, not caring about the stowaway as he drives the car home per Hades' request.
** In both comics, Persephone's hair gets longer while at Hades' place. In the original, she cuts it when she gets home, but in ''Rekindled'', she does it at Hades' place.
** In ''Olympus'', Persephone is dropped off by Hades and both of them are approached by Artemis, who calls out Hades' for potentially taking advantage of her. In ''Rekindled'', Hades simply drops off Persephone and never encounters Artemis. When Artemis asks where Persephone has been, the latter lies by stating she was at Hecate's place.
* AdaptationalDyeJob: In the original comic, Charon has orange skin and is presumably bald. In here, he has ash-purple skin and white hair.
* AdaptationalEarlyAppearance: Both Hermes and Apollo appear much earlier than in the original comic, where they where seen in Chapter 20 and 21 respectively. In here, they appear at Zeus' party in Chapter 3.
* AdaptationalJobChange: Downplayed with Charon; In the original comic, Charon was the ferryman of the dead. He is still a ferryman in ''Rekindled'', but he also works as Hades' chauffeur.
* AdaptationalPersonalityChange: Persephone in this comic is far less naive than in the original, as she is immediately skeeved when she finds herself in Hades' place and punches Hades' when she thinks he's the one who brought her to his house. She is also less of an InnocentFanserviceGirl as she complains about the dress Artemis gives her and she wears more modest clothes throughout the comic.
* AdaptationalRelationshipOverhaul: Persephone is less trusting of Hades than in the original, as she is understandably skeeved out by him when he takes her to his place to care for her. Likewise, Hades is not immediately smitten with Persephone when they meet, seeing her as more of an acquaintance than anything.
* AgeLift: Dionysus was originally an infant in the original comic. In ''Rekindled'', he is an adult man.
* AlcoholInducedIdiocy: After getting drunk the previous night, Artemis has the [[SarcasmMode brilliant idea]] of trying to shoot her arrow on the golden apple on Hermes' head, causing the latter to get an [[EyeScream eye injury]] in the process.
* HighHeelHurt: Persephone ends up giving Hades her since the heels were hurting her feet.
* ReluctantFanserviceGirl: While getting ready for the party, Persephone complains that the dress Artemis gives her is skimpy enough to show her underwear. She only gives in when Artemis assures her that they won't be at the party for too long.
* YourTelevisionHatesYou: In this comic, Persephone is the mascot of Barley Mother's cereal and is often given unwanted attention because of that. In Episode 19, she attempts to distract herself by studying while have some TV as background noise, only for the TV to suddenly show a Barley Mothers commercial. Needless to say, Persephone is frustrated by that.
