* LeftHanging: Due to the series being dropped, it ended on a DownerEnding of Map losing his best friends and home to the static with no way of returning back to normal. Guess you can say the [[{{Pun}} show's over]].

* ShortRunner: Only one episode was produced before the series was canned.

* RagTagBunchOfMisfits: Had the series continued, Map (The BrokenBird PluckyComicRelief) would have joined forces with Santa Hat (The [[BeleagueredAssistant overworked, under-appreciated co-host]]) and Taco (The ManipulativeBitch HiddenVillain) to stop The Darkness from corrupting all of the Object Show multiverse.

[[caption-width-right:350:No one is safe from the apocalypse and now we're relying on...a co-host, a villainess, and a PluckyComicRelief? Saving the multiverse is gonna be a lot harder than we thought.\\

''[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d5A_OYYQwok SHOW'S OVER]]'' (stylized as 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐖'𝐒 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑) is an {{Object Show|s}}[=-focused=], ''WesternAnimation/{{Pibby}}''-inspired MetaFiction {{Crossover}} series created by Punch-Holer (who is also the creator of the webcomic ''Webcomic/EscapeFromAbjectReality'') released on May 7th, 2022.

When a glitchy, [[WebAnimation/BattleForDreamIsland Four]]-shaped entity appears in the world of ''WebAnimation/ModernObjects'' one day, only [[PluckyComicRelief Map]] of the main quartet from said show escapes. After meeting [[WebAnimation/InanimateInsanity Taco]] and [[WebAnimation/PaperPuppets Santa Hat]] via entering their worlds and finding out that the amalgamation is also making its way into other object show worlds assimilating and corrupting whoever it touches, our new trio of heroes will have to find a way to save the multiverse from this all-new threat...but poor Map isn't ready for what's to come.

At least that's what the premise would have played out if it didn't cancelled after just one episode according to this [[https://twitter.com/Punchyholery/status/1576004261384577024/photo/1 Twitter post]].

!!𝐂𝐎𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐈𝐍𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐅𝐎𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐖𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐑𝐎𝐏𝐄𝐒:

* AdaptationalGenderIdentity: Map was cisgender male in ''WebAnimation/ModernObjects'', but is [[https://twitter.com/Punchyholery/status/1523448390574821376 non-binary]] here, as he goes by he/they pronouns.
* ADogNamedDog: Despite the drastic genre shift you don't normally see in ObjectShows, nothing really changes in naming conventions as everyone goes by the objects they are.
* AlternateContinuity: ''SHOW'S OVER'' starts off in an alternate version of the events of the first ''WebAnimation/ModernObjects'' episode.
* AscendedExtra: Map was one of the two main tritagonists in ''Modern Objects'' but is the protagonist here.
* BloodlessCarnage: Horrifically subverted for a kid-orientated cartoon just like in ''WesternAnimation/{{Pibby}}''. Map is shown with clear red-colored scratch marks across his face by the end of the episode and in the promotional material.
* HiveMind: The static operates as one, consuming and absorbing the bodies and consciousness of any unfortunate object in its path, becoming a non-stop, ever-expanding [[BlobMonster blob of terror]] in the process.
* EyeScream: With him filling Pibby's role, it's no surprise that Map gets one of their eyes scratched out.
