* Happens twice in ''WesternAnimation/ToyStory3''. First off, Buzz is offered a position among the toys to be able to get out of the torturous position, which he declines because he doesn't want to leave his friends behind. [[spoiler:Unfortunately, [[BrainwashedAndCrazy it wasn't a request]].]] The second is, to a lesser extent, with {{Franchise/Barbie}}. * ''WesternAnimation/{{The Lion King|1994}}'': In a scene [[WhatCouldHaveBeen that was ultimately cut from the film]] (but resurrected in [[Theatre/TheLionKing the Broadway show]]), Scar attempts to [[AndNowYouMustMarryMe propose to Nala and make her his Queen Consort]], but she refuses and is banished.
