We likely would have gotten a new cast, while Amy and Fanning remains due to being immortals. Although we probably would have gotten flashbacks of what became of the season 1 cast since left Amy left Brad. Lacey did tell Dr. Lear that he has a lot to atone for, implying another story arc. Amongst the new cast would have been a descendant of Brad, which makes Amy right that [[ExactWords they'll meet again]].
