** That’s a bit of a {{Voodoo Shark}} since if there were never any concept of religion before Mark Bellison came along then there (probably) wasn’t any {{UsefulNotes/Judaism}}. And even the idea of Jews as a race rises from the idea of the Hebrews sharing Abrahamic ancestry but given it’s a world without religion it seems unlikely anyone would be familiar with any of that.

** That actually makes a lot of sense. Especially since (regardless of if it were intended or not), the movie portrays religion mostly positively and it actually fits with the idea of G-d as a subtle behind the scenes puppet master.

This would explain why the technology and history is the same as our world. It was made by people who could lie, and given to the honest people by the creators of the utopia.

[[WMG: The movie is the begening of the end of a Fairy controlled earth.]]
Mark is the first human, the rest of the people in the movie are Fae, and thus incapable of lying, Mark's daughter has the ability to lie, implying it is a genetic mutation.

* This might be the far-off RealLife result of doping up every kid with Ritalin, anti-psychotics and [[AppliedPhlebotinum Comatonin]]... you know, for... daydreaming? ...thinking outside the box? ...acting like humans? I'd definitely put this under PoisonOakEpilepticTrees.

Suddenly saying things that did not reflect reality? A sure sign of madness, second only to talking to yourself while [[SweeneyTodd cooking your customers into pies]]. Unfortunately, this [[BuffySpeak talking-about-not-realness]] affected others, convincing them that it was not only made sense but also was a good idea.
