[[WMG:Dark Magic is so reviled by Elves and Dragons because it disrupts the natural harmony of the world]]
Dark Magic is the only form of magic that doesn't draw from natural source, so whatever its power is used, the energy doesn't return to the world, its just used up in the spell. While the Elves and Dragon's may have overreacted by exiling mankind to the west for Dark Magic's creation, its understandable why they would be disgusted by something so unnatural.

[[WMG: Avizandum will be revived.]]
In a later arc, the protagonists discover that removing the spear that petrified Avizandum will bring him back. Seeing as they don’t have a reason NOT to do it, they remove the spear and Avizandum comes back.

* Jossed. WordOfGod has stated that the petrification spell also affected his insides, and because of that, removing the spear won't do anything.

[[WMG: Nyx is meant to be a lighthearted TakeThat to Orginal Character's]]
* She has all the stereotypical hallmarks of one, like an over-elaborate name and multicoloured hair and eyes. On top of that instead of being an asset to the heroes she's portrayed as a LovableRogue whose regarded as either an obstacle or an annoyance by them.
