** Except now, Nintendo's making ''Mario + Rabbids'' RPG games with Creator/{{Ubisoft}}, which are [=RPGs=]. And it's easy to make original characters, because they can just modify Rabbid characters. And that doesn't break the mandates because the Rabbids are not owned by Nintendo. So, Nintendo might just keep Paper Mario going at the way it's at, since ''Mario + Rabbids'' fills the RPG void in their eyes.
