"Joy-to-a-Rooney" has Maddie inviting the ''Voltage'' crew to Karen's lavish Christmas dinner and canceling a deli order. This freaks out Karen with the reveal that she's been using the deli and faking making the dinners all these years. What Karen and Maddie don't realize is that the rest of the family [[SecretSecretKepper have known all along]] Karen is doing this. As distracted as they can be, even they have to know something is off about the lack of cooking smells for hours beforehand and how ridiculously clean the kitchen is afterward. They play along as they prefer the deli meal to Karen's cooking and don't want to hurt her ego with how they know the truth. It's Liv who's been in the dark and Karen too freaked out so neither realize they're going crazy to keep up a "ruse" the rest of the family is already in on.

Kali Rocha had really curly hair early in her career. The fact that Pete and Karen Rooney used to show excessive affection towards each other at school, Karen's hair has been straight throughout the series, and that the Rooney family includes four kids (the first of which are twins), makes me think that Pete bangs Karen so hard in the bedroom that she sweats to the point where those curly locks she had long ago have straightened out, none of which are shown on The Disney Channel, obviously.

Thats the reason why he takes Karate lessons, Pete wants him to meet his real mom. Karen thinks that he's adopted, Pete faked the adoption to hide the fact that he cheated on her. The other kids including Parker don't know it. They were too young (5 and four years old] to remember that their mom hasn't been pregnant before Parker joined the family; he was a baby and to young to remember anything anyways.
* To sum it up: The kids think he's their regular sibling. Karen believes he's adopted and Pete knows the truth: he's his and the Sensej's son.

* Not likely. In RealLife HannahMontana ended two years before Series/LivAndMaddie started, meanwhile InUniverse Liv left home for four years to film the ShowWithinAShow ''Sing it Loud!''. This means that when Liv went to Hollywood Miley had already there living a double life for four years.
