It only makes sense that [[spoiler:his son]] would take up the mantle to replace him.

It was said at the time of Kamen Rider Zero One's Ending that it was a very "Reiwa" kind of ending. For those not in the know, [[spoiler:the main character ended up being the main villain, if only temporarily]]. This statement would make sense if somehow the main character would end up becoming the villain.
