* Funnily enough, in the LighterAndSofter ''Lawman Of The Future'' AlternateContinuity, the Deadworld version of Dredd did become a Dark Judge, except it wasn't Fear, but Death.

** Fargo's face was shown in the comic in an early story (it's on Fargo's entry on Wiki/TheOtherWiki for those interested), but it's likely that this has been [[RetCon Ret Conned]] by ''Origins''.

not only are there names synonymous, but whats behind Judge Fears mask thats so horrific it scares you to death? take the already terrifying Dredd and make him both evil and unkillable, its also why it gets completely noselled by Dredd, why would he be scared of a mirror?

[[HilariousInHindsight "The Cursed Earth" makes reference to a theme park where dinosaurs were cloned for people to see]], which explains why dinosaurs are roaming the Cursed Earth and Dredd has to fight a T-Rex. Clearly, they haven't learned their lesson.

[[WMG: Judge Fear is a [[Franchise/HarryPotter Boggart]].]]
* A boggart takes the form of whatever their victim fears most. We've seen Fear's face three times, and it was [[http://static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/2/22955/851294-judge_fear_5.png different]] [[http://cdn.comicartfans.com/Images/Category_7767/subcat_36527/Judgefire.jpg each]] [[http://static.comicvine.com/uploads/original/2/22955/851295-judge_fear_6.png time]], so that must mean that his face changes depending on the person who looks at it, just like a boggart!
** Which is why it doesn't work on Dredd. Judge Dredd fears nothing.
