Eddie thinks Bowers was the one who broke his arm, Bev thinks Bowers kidnapped her, the Losers remember Bowers trying to kill them in the sewers under Derry; not the evil shapeshifting clown.

Then it will skip forward to 2016, showing the older Losers club reacting to the news that IT has returned similar to the framing device from the 1990 version, culminating in Stan's suicide and writing "IT" on the wall in blood, which will form the title screen in the same way the letters appeared coming out of the sewer entrance in Chapter I.
