[[WMG: ''All'' the stories in "couch patch" are, to an extent, true.]]
The timeline goes like this: Li'l Strong Bad writes his graffiti proclaiming he thinks "Carla" Lewis is hot, but later discovers the truth about Carl Lewis's gender and defaces the couch to cover it up. Years later, Coach Z pukes into the hole in the couch after eating Strong Bad's "doo-doo meat gumbo", and covers it with the patch. Later, Strong Bad attempts to hide his "Aztec gold" in the hole behind the patch, only to run into the "stench of biblical proportions" caused by Coach Z's vomit being left to rot.

[[WMG: Homsar, Senor Cardgage, and the Drive-Thru Whale are from a different universe.]]
* Going with some of the above theories, it's clear that these three characters are the weirdest of the bunch. Thing is, they might all be a part of the same universe, a universe where characters speak in a non-sequitur language. Non-sequitur would be the best way to describe both of them since Homsar and Cardgage competed in a "Non-sequitur Champion" contest, and in Strong Bad's Cool Game for Attractive People Episode 2, collecting random items and putting them in a pylon makes Homsar's language understandable by Strong Bad.
** It raises the question, however, of who's a parallel version of who. It's clear with Homsar and Cardgage (in fact, Senor's initials are SC, which is one letter after SB), but what about the Whale? Well, if the Whale is a non-sequitur universe version of someone, judging by the blue coloration, toothy grin, questionable demands, and sales association, it's certain that the Whale is the non-sequitur universe version of Bubs.

[[WMG: The Poopsmith is a massive nerd.]]

* Just look at his Halloween costume choices. Doc Brown, Tron, M. Bison...the Poopsmith is probably very into sci-fi and video games and we just don't know it.

Because, c'mon: the [[GettingCrapPastTheRadar Radar-dodging]] yet still kid-friendly brand of humor would fit right in with ''WesternAnimation/AdventureTime''. In addition, Creator/AdultSwim tried to make a deal with the Brothers Chaps a few years ago, but they probably declined out of the fear that Adult Swims execs would [[ExecutiveMeddling make it too adult]] like Spike TV execuas did with ''WesternAnimation/TheRenAndStimpyShow''. Besides, it's not like Cartoon Network has an aversion to ''[[TotalDramaIsland crappy]]'' [[AlmostNakedAnimals Flash]] [[WesternAnimation/JohnnyTest cartoons]], so why not pick up a genuinely ''good'' Flash cartoon for once?

* Consider how horrifying most of the cast would look if their bodies were subject to the laws of nature. Even if you ignore the several missing limbs, Bubs has flippers, Marzipan is implied to have some kind of sluglike foot in place of legs, Strong Bad's face is at least partially removable, and Coach Z has a face in only the loosest definition of the word. The oldest cast member, the King of Town, could possibly be just a cartoonish human under that Santaman cape thingy, and the youngest, presumably Strong Sad, is both the most grounded in reality and most realistic in his appearance. He has a complete head (unlike the otherwise humanoid Strong Mad), arms with actual ''fingers'' (while half the cast are still working on the whole "arms" business), and feet with toes (animal feet, but it's something). This variation in mutations implies that whatever warped Free Country's reality started off slowly, came into full force at around the time of Homestar and Marzipan's births (living flesh broomstick?!), and waned slowly since. Homsar, with his vague age and origin, is some kind of anomaly, it's possible that he's the cause of all the chaos in the first place. Or, as stated above, he is a god.

\n* Afterwards, Homestar, depressed, will crash on Strong Bad's couch drowning his sorrows in melonades. It gets to the point that Strong Bad has had enough, especially since Homestar hovers during a sbemail. Seeking a way to get Homestar out, he is told by Strong Sad he has a friend on [=MySpace=] named Champeen (and Strong Bad ridicules Strong Sad for still using [=MySpace=] after everyone moved on to Facebook and Twitter). Strong Bad has to delve into the "Dancing Bubs" game and the Museum sketchbook to find out just who Champeen is, finding out that, much like Dijjery Doo, she was a rejected character. Setting them up on a blind date, it's love at first sight, as Champeen is as athletic and moronic as Homestar (without the Elmer Fudd thing and only a bit smarter than Homestar). During the date, though, they run into Marzipan and Coach Z, and it turns out Champeen and Coach Z have a history, as she beat Coach Z in the 1984 Summer Olympics at the 100m Dash. Coach Z goes postal on Champeen, but Champeen reveals she's a black belt in karate, quickly taking down Coach Z ("Ow, my everythorng.") Marzipan helps Coach Z home while she berates him for attacking Champeen, and Homestar and Champeen go off to practice for kickball season. Satisfied, Strong Bad turns to the audience and tells them "There, now Marzipan isn't the only girl anymore. Are you overzealous soccer moms happy now?"

** Think about it, though. They are both big, strong, bald and have NoIndoorVoice, and Strong Mad has the most human-like appearance out of all the brothers (or characters in general, really). And since PokerNightAtTheInventory showed that the two worlds can collide, this becomes a possibility.

\n*This may be the first time I have seen a "It was in they're Imagination! It never really happened!" theory not involveing comas or insanity or some BS like that. It's just a guy who made a cool story! Lemme try to compare all the characters (at least the main ones) To real-life Strong Bad Acquaintances. Strong Sad and Strong Mad are indeed his real-life brothers, but they're story versions are extremely exaggerated. Strong bad also love his younger brother IRL, but he thought the abuse could be funny in a dark comedy kind of way. Pom-Pom is a rich playboy from foreign lands, most likely Japan or something, hence the different language. Pom speaks some English though, enough to form meaningful relationships. The KOT is a senile rich old man, and the Poopsmith is his quiet assistant. All the other Characters are made up by SB. I'm debating with myself whether or not they look like the weirdos we know and love, or are actual humans. Tell me which sounds better
