* [[spoiler:Kind of. The Secretariat film is eventually a hit, but not because of [=BoJack's=] acting. [=BoJack=] is even replaced by a CGI version of himself in the final product.]]

[[WMG: At the beginning of Season 2, Princess Carolyn will discover that Vincent Adultman is actually three kids in a trench coat.]]
The writers seem to have set up this plot thread in season 1 to carry over into season 2, and it would be a [[StealthPun yarn ball of thread]] for Princess Carolyn to play with. It would cause her to spend season 2 wondering what is wrong with herself.
* Alternatively, Vincent will dump Princess Carolyn before things get too serious and will ''still'' figure out how to bullshit his way out of revealing himself.
* [[spoiler: Jossed. They break up early on and, although seeing him as Kevin, she never realizes Vincent is actually three kids in a trenchcoat]].

[[WMG: The Secretariat film will be a success.]]
Because [=BoJack=] will act so well in it.
* [[spoiler:Kind of. The Secretariat film is eventually a hit, but not because of [=BoJack's=] acting. [=BoJack=] is even replaced by a CGI version of himself in the final product.]]

[[WMG: Alternatively, the Secretariat film will receive negative critical response.]]
Either due to [=BoJack=] being too old for the part or due to ExecutiveMeddling messing up a perfectly good story. This could mirror the events of the Hollywood D movie in-universe.
* [[spoiler:Jossed (mostly). The Secretariat film does well ''because'' of the ExecutiveMeddling changing the story from a gritty drama to a ClicheStorm.]]

[[WMG: [[TakeAThirdOption Or]], the Secretariat film will be an AcclaimedFlop.]]
* [[spoiler:Also Jossed, see above. We don't hear much about the critical reception beyond its failure to land [=BoJack=] an Oscar nomination.]]

[[WMG: Charlotte will visit [=BoJack=].]]
After reading the book that Diane wrote about him, she will want to see him again.
* [[spoiler:Jossed. [=BoJack=] actually visits Charlotte.]]
* Or, he'll do what he did with Herb and actually make the trip to go visit her in Maine, where he'll discover...
** [[spoiler:Confirmed, though she lives in New Mexico, not Maine.]]

[[WMG: Charlotte already has a family.]]
She probably settled down with someone else. And [=BoJack=] accepting this will be his next personal issue to come to terms with after Herb's RejectedApology.
* [[spoiler:Confirmed! She's married with two kids, which causes some awkwardness when she kisses [=BoJack=] and later sees [=BoJack=] alone with her daughter Penny and assumes the worst.]]

[[WMG: Sarah Lynn will die from a drug overdose.]]
This will send a wave of mixed emotions through [=BoJack=]. She briefly mentions in "Prickly Muffin" that she's perfectly aware that her party-hard lifestyle will eventually catch up with her and kill her at a young age. This could either make things more or less emotionally complicated.
* [[spoiler:Doesn't happen in Season 2, could still happen later.]]
** [[spoiler:It happens in season 3 instead.]]

[[WMG: Todd will get another chance at success with his rock opera.]]
Because...because we need to hear more of the story about Newtopia, dammit! Not to mention that Todd now has directorial and entrepreneurial experience and has the resources (i.e. an eager Mr. Peanutbutter) to get it off the ground.
* [[spoiler:Doesn't happen in Season 2 or 3, still theoretically possible.]]

[[WMG: The Beast Buy receipt is still under the couch.]]
It will probably turn up again later as a ContinuityNod.
* [[spoiler:Doesn't happen in Season 2, could happen later.]]

[[WMG: An episode will focus on the actor who played Goober on ''Horsin' Around.'']]
In the Christmas special, it was said that the actor who played Goober molested Laker girls. Considering [[BrickJoke the show's type of humor]], this throwaway line may end up becoming an actual plot point.
* While [[spoiler:Goober does appear in the present in Season 2 at Herb's funeral, he doesn't have an episode focusing on him and the molestation charges are never brought up.]]
* He shows up in the third season, and he's even ''worse''.

[[WMG: Vincent Adultman isn't actually three children in a trench coat.]]
He's just a very deformed man with tiny arms, forcing him to use a mannequin arm and broom.
* [[spoiler:Even less plausible now that we've seen Kevin in Season 2, but the series hasn't confirmed either way.]]

[[WMG: Herb will die, and [=BoJack=] will have to decide whether or not to attend his funeral.]]
If he goes, he'd be attending the funeral of a man who had every right to not want him there, but if he doesn't, it's disrespectful to a man who did so much for him, and either one would give him some form of selfish closure.
* [[spoiler: Confirmed. However, [=BoJack=] is not affected by the decision. He attends the funeral along with the rest of the cast of ''Horsin' Around'' in Season 2, and is perfectly aware that Herb would not have wanted him there.]]

[[WMG: Mr. Peanutbutter will eventually have to confront his problems head-on like [=BoJack=].]]
"Later" revealed that Mr. Peanutbutter is just as cynical as everyone else and only does trivial hobbies to [[StepfordSmiler keep himself distracted]]. Eventually, he'll have to deal with his problems just like [=BoJack=] did, but it'll be harder because he's been kept his feelings so bottled up for so long.
* Semi-confirmed. In "After the Party", [[spoiler:he reveals to Diane through a huge argument than he's actually terrified of death and that he doesn't want her to go to Cordova because he's afraid he'll lose her forever if he does. He never confronts his problems to the extent [=BoJack=] does though.]]

[[WMG: The rest of the series [[SeasonalRot is going to suck]].]]
Season 1 is a ToughActToFollow!
* Jossed, as much as a theory based around an opinion can be. Season 2 has been very well-received and it's widely agreed to be even better than the first.

[[WMG: The John Stamos joke is going to be a lot less funny when [[FunnyAneurysmMoment the real John Stamos actually dies]].]]
* A bit early to tell, though, since as of this writing, he's perfectly healthy.

[[WMG: [=BoJack=] will go through TomHanksSyndrome after the ''Secretariat'' movie.]]
And [[{{Narm}} it will be hilarious]]!
* [[spoiler:In Season 2, the ''Secretariat'' movie ends up dropping all of it's dark, heavy themes and becoming a light-hearted ClicheStorm. And [=BoJack=] doesn't even act in the final version, instead just providing his likeness for CGI. So this seems unlikely.]]

[[WMG: An episode will contain a shout out to TV Tropes.]]
An episode will have a quick throw-away joke of [=BoJack=] browsing the TV Tropes article for ''Horsin' Around'', or maybe he edits it and complains whenever something negative is said about the show.
* Or will keep editing a lot of the more less favorable remarks to make them seem less harsh.
** Semi-confirmed: it doesn't appear in an episode proper, but [[https://www.instagram.com/p/BHihZm5AF2F/ one promo]] involves [=BoJack=] sweetening up his page on Wiki/Wikipedia page.
* A Season 3 episode drops a mention about tropes, which may be the closest we're going to get.
