''[[https://www.eldarya.com/ Eldarya]]'' is an online VisualNovel created by Creator/{{Beemoov}}. You play as a young woman who magically and mysteriously finds herself in the magical land of Eldaray. The main character's name is up to you though she is officially refereed to as Erika or Guardian. The game is split between two season: "The Origins" and "A New Era."

In "The Origins", Erika steps into a circle of mushrooms during a walk in the woods. The mushrooms turn out to be a magical, transporting her to the world of Eldarya, a fantastical land filled with creatures from human myth. Just like Earth, though, Eldarya has its fair share of conflicts: the large blue crystal that regulates Maana was vandalized a year ago, leaving many of Eldarya's inhabitants weaker with some even going mad or becoming extremely aggressive. In addition to their primary purpose of keeping the peace and assisting people, the Guard of El's goal is to restore the crystal to its former glory by finding crystal fragments. Since the young woman is unable to return to Earth, she joins one of the Guard of El's factions and assists them in their quest. During her adventures, she can romance either Ezarel, a sarcastic elf; Nevra, a flirty vampire; Valkyon, a stoic man; and Leiftan, a kindly lorialet. "The Origins" ran from 2016 to 2020, ending with a total of 30 episodes.

For the sake of simplicity, the player character will be referred to as Erika.

* AllegedlyFreeGame: The player gets 50 mana a day, and can earn more mana through mini-games and the market. A single move in the game costs 10 mana. There's also some clothes items which can only be bought with the premium currency.
* ApparentlyHumanMerfolk: Alajea doesn't quite look human due to her fin ears, but she doesn't look different from the other residents of El and walks around on two legs due to a potion she takes.

* BareYourMidriff: Valkyon and Leiftan.
* BrattyHalfPint: Chrome is the youngest of the guard and acts like a brat sometimes.
* ColorCodedForYourConvenience: All the guards are associated with a different color. Dark Purple for shadow, green for Absynthe, red for Obsidian, and gold for Light.
* ColorCodedItemTiers: All items have a colored triangle in the corner indicated how rare the item is.

* GiveMeYourInventoryItem: The player often has to collect different items to progress with the plot. Often these are gotten by going to the right screen or talking to the right person, but other times the items are standard inventory items such as food for your familiar.
* HatesSmallTalk: Valkyon doesn't usually talk unless there's something he wants to talk about. The player character comments that this makes it harder to get to know him.
* IronicFear: Alajea is a mermaid, who is uncomfortable around water.
* LittleBitBeastly: Various magical races are portaryed with animal ears, such as brownies, [[AsianFoxSpirit kitsunes]] and werewolves.
* MisunderstoodLonerWithAHeartOfGold: Erika feels uneasy about Cryllis when she first meets him, and he does little to reassure her. [[spoiler: He's acting as a guardian to the forest, even though the guard don't know it.]]
* NervousWreck: Ykhar gets stress attacks easily.
* OnionTears: If Erika is spending time with Nevra in episode 8, she makes him cut onions because of this.
* PlayerPersonalityQuiz: Keroshane gives the player a couple early on to determine both the player's guild and their starting companion.
* ProudMerchantRace: The purrekos are all merchants of some sort.

* RealMenWearPink: Valkyon's companion is a musarose (a cute mouse creature with a flower for a tail), which he dotes on with no shame whatsoever.
* RelationshipValues: The player has one with all the characters, although they can only date a few of them.

* SupremeChef: Erika comes across as this, because no one else in Eldarya really knows how to cook.

In addition to playing through the story, the player send their pet out exploring to collect new items to customize their avatar. There's a monthly contest between the three basic guards to determine which guild's members are the most active.
