** Cheeky seems to find Daddy Dearest's attempts to kill Boyfriend somewhat ridiculous as evidenced in his dialogue in the intro cutscene, though he complies anyways.
* LighterAndSofter: Invoked. Cheeky tries to move himself and Boyfriend to one of M U G E N's darker games (likely [[https://www.roblox.com/games/6655413959/VESZTESEG VESZTESEG]], his place of origin) under the excuse of privacy for the two of them, but Boyfriend refuses, leaving them stuck in the more "normal" lobby surrounded by a crowd of devotees.
* LuckBasedMission: The gunshots in "Hard 2 Break" occur randomly, meaning if the player is really unlucky, Cheeky will fire off enough shots to cause an instant game over without any chance of healing.
* MarathonLevel: The final song, "Bedrock," is ''four minutes'' long, with the drop leading up to the meat of the song occurring 90 seconds in.
* RedEyesTakeWarning: [[spoiler:Cheeky's face starts glowing red after the drop in "Bedrock."]]
* SurprisinglyRealisticOutcome: [[spoiler:M U G E N's lobby is set in the real world, and as such the police show up to the building after Cheeky fires off one too many gunshots in "Hard 2 Break."]]
* TheThingThatWouldNotLeave: After Boyfriend beats Cheeky fair and square, he breaks into Cheeky's house to challenge him further. Understandably, the rock doesn't understand what's going on and starts freaking out, even as their fight [[spoiler:drags them deeper into M U G E N's hellscape]].
