* [[NotIfTheyEnjoyedItRationalization Not If They Can't Remember It Rationalization]]: Not-so-subtly implied by O'Hagan; Westbury does "unpleasant things" to 1213, but she doesn't do anything about it because 1213 won't remember it, so it's better to just let Westbury use him as an outlet for his stress in the hope that it'll help his mental health.

I fail to see how this is a Take That. People asked him to include a sprint function... and he did. There\'s no reason a sprint function HAS to include new puzzles, and there\'s plenty of moments that sprinting comes in very handy.

* TakeThat: In the second episode, Croshaw included a "sprint" function, which allows 1213 to run faster at the risk of making his heart explode, by request of the fan-base. He then did not include a single puzzle in the game that requires the faster speed imparted by the sprint function.

Somewhat inspired by ''Flashback'' with some ''SystemShock'' thrown in for good measure, ''1213'' is an action-adventure platformer complete with gun combat. Not bad for a game engine specifically ''designed'' for point-and-click adventure games. The title character, 1213, manages to escape the cell in which he has lived for as long as he can remember (which isn't that far back) into something much worse.
