* {{Cap}}: Some buyables like Jacorb, Acamaeda, and Enhancer in the sequel have a max level based on their available effects.

* ShoutOut: thefinaluptake's effect in ''2'' multiplies point gain by 10 (made stronger later) but has it steadily drop until it's reaches at 0 (later a percentage) until a reset is performed, which strongly resembles ''VideoGame/TheBurningTree'''s gameplay loop.

''VideoGame/TheUserTree'' is an IdleGame made in UsefulNotes/TheModdingTree by 1e1000000 and released in 2021. The main Prestige layer has upgrades named after users with descriptions related to them, plus there are a few other layers like Boosters and Infinity for further progress.

The game has been remade in 2022 as ''The User Tree 2'' with support for bigger numbers and layers that are slightly more inspired by the original ''VideoGame/PrestigeTree'', but user names in upgrades remain.

The original is playable [[https://raw.githack.com/1e1000000/The-Modding-Tree/user/index.html here]], while the sequel is playable [[https://raw.githack.com/1e1000000/the-user-tree-2/main/index.html here]].

!!This game provides examples of:
* AchievementSystem: There's a sidelayer that has 13 achievements to earn, all of which are done through normal progression.
* AIGeneratedEconomy: A tab in ''2'' lets you choose whether you buy prestige upgrades and gain prestige points automatically.
* AscendedExtra: A few users like Jacorb and Acamaeda who were just prestige and super prestige upgrades in the original are moved to the Main sidelayer where they can be upgraded multiple times for stronger effects.
* ChallengeRun: Buying Normal-15 unlocks a VideoGame/TreeQuest sidelayer where you have to complete challenges by reaching a point quota with a restriction or some weakening. Each [=TreeQuest=] can be done up to 10 times, except for those which are limited because they'd break the intended endgame.
* CompanyCrossReferences: You can input "h0nde" as the code to replace resources with stuff like h0nde accounts and prestiged h0nde, referencing ''VideoGame/TheH0ndeTree''.
* CompletionMeter: There's a meter that shows the double-logarithmic percentage (only a logarithmic percentage in ''2'') to the point amount needed to reach the endgame.
* ColorCodedForYourConvenience: Each layer has a specific color.
** Prestige: Teal (crimson if "crimson406" is used as the code)
** Booster: Medium blue
** Infinity (''1'' only): Yellow
** Super prestige (''1'' only): Slightly darker teal (slightly brighter crimson if "crimson406" is used as the code)
** Generator (''2'' only): Light green
* DiminishingReturnsForBalance: A bunch of upgrades as well as boosters have a softcap above a certain point for their effect. Starting points for the former are shown when you hover over them.
* DoubleUnlock: All Super upgrades cost a certain amount of super prestige points, but they also require prestige upgrades, infinity points, or [=TreeQuest=] completions before they can be purchased.
* ExportSave: You can push a button to export the 5KB+ save file and another to paste it back in.
* NotActuallyCosmeticAward: All achievements after the first two provide a useful reward that adds to production or coveniences.
