Added \"The Teaser\" to this trope.

Added DiffLines:

* {{The Teaser}}s: This is the first ''Monkey Island'' game to have playable cold openings in five chapters... sort of. Chapter 1, for example, has a playable intro that can be accomplished with help from instructions before the main title starts. Chapter 3 has a VERY long playable cold opening consisting of a few tasks and an "Answer the question" minigame before the chapter's title starts. Chapter 4, on the other hand, only has the shortest playable cold opening, where you only have to select a topic before the chapter's title starts.

** In Chapter 3, [[spoiler:after extracting the formula from Guybrush's Poxed hand,]] De Singe becomes joyous, then mutters to himself in French, "La mort est tuée..." (albeit without the "é") which, when translated, means "Death is killed." [[spoiler:This becomes a key plot point for De Singe in Chapter 4, and later for Guybrush in Chapter 5 when he repossesses his decaying corpse and [[BlessedWithSuck keeps himself "alive" with the Spirit Gum]].]]

Moved \"The Other Darrin\" to the Trivia tab.

* TheOtherDarrin: [=LeChuck=]. In episode 4, [[spoiler: [=LeChuck=]'s original voice actor Earl Boen returns as Demon [=LeChuck=], while his new voice actor, Kevin Blackton, plays [=LeChuck=] in human form. It's a full-circle effect, sort of like what happened with Elaine: Demon [=LeChuck=] in episode 1 was originally played by actor Adam Harrington (who was replaced in later episodes), but Telltale rerecorded [=LeChuck=]'s episode 1 dialogue with Boen for the DVD release.]]
** Also, the voices for the Spoon Isle Trio (Pirates Bill, Ted, and Kevin) in Chapter 2 seem to have been rearranged in Chapter 5 somehow. For example, Pirate Bill (Swordfighter) seems a bit tough and rough-voiced in Chapter 2, while in Chapter 5 he sounds like a moderately low-pitched guy with pirate-speak. Also, Pirate Ted (Treasure Hunter) sounds like a bit of a Trenchfoot sound-alike in Chapter 2, but he now sounds like an Irish-accented dude in Chapter 5; and Pirate Kevin's (Thief) like a very tough dude with a British accent in Chapter 2, while in Chapter 5 he speaks like a redneck in a [[AmericanAccents low-voiced]] [[DeepSouth Southern drawl]]. Different voice actors, perhaps?
** And Joaquin D'Oro is voiced by David Boyll in Chapter 1, but in Chapter 4, he has a different voice actor: Andrew Chaikin (a.k.a. Kid Beyond).

Discontinuity cleanup

* ContinuityNod: It's unusual to see this trope in practice in this series, [[{{Discontinuity}} all things considered,]] but ''Tales'' likes it. Added \"Scrolling Text\" to this trope.

Added DiffLines:

* ScrollingText: This is the first time we actually see scrolling subtitle text that accompanies the voices in a ''Monkey Island'' game, be it fast or slow.
