General clarification on work content

* NewFriendEnvy: Riku has this towards Donald and Goofy in regards to Sora, which Maleficient exploits. Also hinted at in the [[https://imgur.com/a/RPb9Fls exclusive bonus chapter]] of the ''Final Mix'' manga, towards Kairi (as Sora's new friend). It shows Sora and Riku as little kids discovering the Secret Place together, with Sora declaring it their own personal hideout and swearing Riku not to tell anyone about it. A couple pages later, we see a young Riku back in the Secret Place, forlornly staring at the portraits Sora and Kairi have now drawn of each other.

* TemporaryPartyMemberToVillain: Subverted, while in Monstro, as Sora, Donald and Goofy face the Parasite Cage for the first time, Riku (who has already allied himself with Maleficent by this point) joins in the fight alongside them. Immediately afterward though, when the Parasite Cage spits Pinocchio out and he falls through a hole in the floor (where he lands on Geppetto's ship), Riku follows and kidnaps Pinocchio himself, feeling that by studying the puppet, he can find a way to restore their friend Kairi's lost heart.

The game's first sequel, ''VideoGame/KingdomHeartsChainOfMemories'', would be released in 2004. Other games would later be released that also take place simultaneously with either this game or ''Chain of Memories'', with fan debates about the best playing order for the series persisting to this day. See the [[Franchise/KingdomHearts franchise page]] for more information on the other games of the series.
