''Fishdom'' is a MatchThreeGame series. In them, you have to destroy all blocks to complete the level by making matches on tiles that have them. Each block gives some money which can be spent on buying fish, decorations, and amenities for your aquarium. Once all three bars are filled, you earn a trophy for that aquarium and can try going for a better trophy or move on to another one.

Games in the series:
* ''Fishdom'' (2008)
* ''Fishdom [=H2O=]: Hidden Oddysey'' (2009)
* ''Fishdom 2'' (2010)
* ''Fishdom 3'' (2012)
* ''Fishdom: Depths of Time'' (2014)

!!This game provides examples of:
* CaptainErsatz: The game was advertised with characters resembling ''WesternAnimation/FindingNemo''.
* ChainLightning: The lightning power-up that spawns after 7 power-ups were used destroys all tiles of the type it has been swapped with by using a lightning that bounces off of them.
* EvolvingTitleScreen: The title screen matches the aquarium you've last used. The more things you buy for it, the more detailed it'll get.
* HeartSymbol: Standard red hearts appear above the fish if you buy them what they want or are otherwise happy with what's already in the tank.
* MoneyMultiplier: Each trophy in the collection adds to money earned after each level, making it wise to get as many of them as possible.
* ScoreScreen: After each level, you're shown a screen that counts money earned based on yellow blocks destroyed, points earned, and time left.
* SlapOnTheWristNuke: The warhead only destroys tiles in a 7x7-4 tile radius. It's certainly quite a bit of a playing board, but it still only destroys one layer of blocks and chains from them, so it is not as spectacular as one would expect from a weapon of this caliber.
* ThreeStatSystem: The fish tank's merit is based on three stats: fish (depends on the fish that are swimming in it), beauty (the decorations placed in it), and comfort (amenities bought).
* TimedMission: Each level must be completed before a bar shown on the right is completely empty.
* VideoGameCaringPotential: The whole game has you take care of fish. Sometimes, they think about specific things they want, and you can buy them (even if it's not needed to beat the game) to make them happy.
