Staff Chick renamed to White Magician Girl. Uncertain if this fits, so substituting the supertrope to be safe.

Anime Hair section edited because, honestly, it\'s really not a huge step up from the last games. Also, the Noodle People section just plain doesn\'t make sense. Maybe I\'m missing what the original troper was trying to say, but Krom looks reasonably muscular in both his in-game art and official art. The only one who really counts as \"noodley\" so far is Liz who, let\'s face it, as a Cleric isn\'t going to have the muscles of a sword-user anyway. The bit about Clerics being a \"Lord\" class also has no basis. It\'s more WMG than anything else, so I\'m moving it there.

** That same trailer also featured the appearance of [[http://serenesforest.net/fe13/img/0222/013.png the Binding Shield]], also known as the ''original'' [[MacGuffin titular "Fire Emblem"]] from Marth's games. And Krom happens to wield a "blade of light" called "Falchion" with a similar design to Marth's version. That's an awful lot of astonishing coincidences, but we shall see what we shall see...

The thirteenth FireEmblem game, and the first original title (as in, not a remake) since [[VideoGame/FireEmblemTellius Radiant Dawn]] in 2007. Its Japanese title is "Fire Emblem: Kakusei" (which translates to "Awakening"), so its American title is not yet set in stone.

Little is known at this point; what is known is that it stars [[YouGottaHaveBlueHair yet another blue haired swordsman]] named "Krom"* and a player created custom character. A female staff user named "Liz" appears in the official site's banner opposite from him. The game brings back the world map system of Gaiden and The Sacred Stones and maintains the skill system, allowing you to freely swap skills between characters. It sports a graphical style reminiscent of the Tellius games with a more cartoonish bent, sporting a TwoPointFiveD map and 3D fights. The character portrait art style looks like it belongs in a {{Seinen}} anime, which is a fresh departure from the [[UncannyValley overly-realistic]] art style from the DS games. A new feature introduced allows units to gang up on enemies when next to an attacking ally (The exact mechanics of this are unknown).

It will be the first Nintendo title to feature paid DLC. After [[FireEmblemAkaneia New Mystery of the Emblem]] failed to make the translation leap, some fans already fear the possibility of NoExportForYou.

NoExportForYou; a European release was confirmed in the February 2012 instalment of Nintendo Direct, but given the recent deal with ''{{Xenoblade}}'' that's no guarantee of anything regarding the American market. No translated title has yet been confirmed[[hottip:*:that it's actually being translated was only confirmed mid-February, wherein it was tentatively called just "''Fire Emblem"'']], it's universally known by a straight translation of its Japanese name, ''Fire Emblem: Kakusei'' (though given [[NoExportForYou this series' history]], that's really nothing new).
