* GenreSavvy: After being attacked by a mummy who turned out to be [[spoiler: Eddie]] a few times, three people hurry to Brutus's room. Why? Because they decided that they need a gun to shoot their attacker, and since they know Brutus has had dealings with the Mafia, they figure who better to come to for a gun? They didn't get a gun, but at least they tried, didn't they?
** [[spoiler: Eddie]] is a case of DangerouslyGenreSavvy. [[spoiler: He's the one who handed you control over all the traps in the apartment building. But later, when he wants to attack the guests, he must go through the building himself. So he takes along a remote control of his own so he can activate the traps before ''you'' do. This forces you to change your strategy; you now have to shut the traps ''off'' before Eddie can trap the guests in them, and ''then'' you have to use the traps on Eddie when he walks over them himself.]]
