* ReallyGetsAround: Angela had more boyfriends than Emily could've ever had, though Emily had a few that passed her by until ending up with an official one in ''True Love''.

Of course, if you're a hardcore casual video gamer and you '''don't''' just reach for the "target" score, it can get very tedious on the "Invitation Challenge[s]". Each gamer would have a different opinion on which is the hardest challenge of them all.
** Emily's Miracle of Life ends their Difficulty Modes for Easy and Hard, and many fans are wanting to bring it back because they think it is very hard to play in Normal Mode.

* OhCrap: Edward has this reaction at the end of level 53 when Vinicio tells him not to buy any property from a realtor who bilks people out of money and has fled the country... right after Edward had already gave him that money!

* MarriedAtSea: A couple who had their wedding cancelled has one on-board the ship, and fortunately, Emily makes a cake for them while Angela improvises a wedding dress for the bride.

* ThisIsUnforgivable: [[spoiler: When Mrs. Skoggstad fires the crew in front of Captain Stubing, he pulls her and her husband to the side, and tells her off, not wanting to have the passengers' cruise disrupted by her, nor her antics treating the crew like "incompetent bozos" being tolerated any more. He ends up telling her "Go to your room" and her husband, "No matter what you say, I will not apologize. So whatever you have to say to me, say it now." Mr. Skoggstad sides with Captain Stubing, and admits he's a GREAT Captain, no matter what his wife thought.]]

* GettingCrapPastTheRadar: The game is, at best, for all ages. The story in the games, especially later ones, manage to sneak in some things that concerns more adult problems but nothing too explicit.
** The story of ''Emily's Big Surprise'' was Patrick who thought that Emily was [[spoiler:pregnant. We all knew in the end, she wasn't. Yet, there seemed to be an accidental implication of pre-marital sex because how else would Patrick thought she was expecting? [[IntercourseWithYou They've done it!]] That's how.]]
** [[MayDecemberRomance Angela's marriage to a much older guy really speaks for itself]].
** In ''Honeymoon Cruise'', a man calls Evelyn "an old broad". [[spoiler:Edward punches the guy afterwards. He regrets it but can you really help it if you heard your wife being called such a thing?]]
** In ''Home Sweet Home'', one morning, once they realize they're alone in their bed, Emily and Patrick start making out. Of course their daughter Paige comes in shortly after and interrupts them, but it doesn't take much guess what would happen next had they been left alone.
