* PowerCreepPowerSeep: Due to Creator/CartoonNetwork's staple shows going from SliceOfLife Shows to {{Adventure}} Series With {{superhero}}es and {{supervillain}}s, the likes of Mac & Bloo can battle {{Flying Brick}}s, {{Galactic Conqueror}}s, and [[MasterSwordsman Master Swordsmen]] on an equal level. Quite {{egregious}} in the case of Ben Tennyson, who, instead of having a StanceSystem with a select few of his most popular forms as one would expect, fights primarily in human form, trasforming briefly for a special attack. And he's powerful, too.

* EleventhHourRanger: Captain Planet joins the party at the very end of the story mode, saving everyone from the final boss. This may or may not be a reference to the Subspace Emissary in ''VideoGame/SuperSmashBrosBrawl'', where that game's GuestFighter SonicTheHedgehog saved everyone else from the final boss at the end.

* NiceJobFixingItVillain: Father. Go ahead and break into Dexter's lab, set the place on fire to sabotage his work, mess up his lair and the dimension jet. It's not like you sent Ben, Chowder, and Buttercup to the Powerpuff Girls' dimension where two more super-powered girls would join them.

Added DiffLines:

* RequiredPartyMember: Numbuh One is locked in as the first party member for the K.N.D. Treehouse in Story Mode, since his candy guns are necessary to activate the door switches scattered throughout the level.

Added DiffLines:

* ObviousBeta: There's a ton of lazy development quirks that almost make the game unplayable. Unresponsive controls, an unfinished battle system, and an unintuitive control scheme that even the veteran ''Smash'' player finds hard to get used to. There's also a quite infamous bug that [[UnwinnableByMistake freezes the game during one of the final levels]]. Granted, there are ways to bypass this bug (many people did it just by sheer luck) but it's still a problem that makes the game a textbook example of ObviousBeta.

* UnexpectedCharacter: WesternAnimation/{{Captain Planet|and the Planeteers}}. Some actually thought he was a hoax when he was leaked out.
