* BossInMookClothing: There are bricks which seem normal but are shockingly close to indestructible, like the one in level 4 that has about 120 HP and gives two or three level ups when first destroyed.

!!This game provides examples of:
* AbsurdlyHighLevelCap: You can beat the game reasonably in the mid 50s in terms of level, but high score tables have shown that people reached a much higher level than that. As of 2020, the highest is 218, which due to each level up requiring (x-1)^3 EXP, would need over 10000000 EXP to go from lv. 217 to 218.
* BossInMookClothing: There are bricks which seem normal but are shockingly close to indestructible, like the one in level 4 that has about 120 HP and gives two or three level ups when first destroyed.
* BreakingOut: The game has you breaking bars with a paddle as usual, though there are things like level ups and later bars having more HP to spice things up.
* HardLevelsEasyBosses: The levels have you break you lots of HP worth of bricks, thousands or tens of thousands usually. The first boss has 500 HP and the second has 4*500 HP, with the only thing that sets them apart is being able to move slowly and pitiful attacks.
* LowLevelAdvantage: Since ghost balls are thrown in a straight line from the paddle's center, it can make it impossible to hit blocks with ghost balls that are small and on the far left/right. For this reason, having a lower level for the paddle length upgrade may be beneficial.
* MarathonLevel: Level 15 is really long, fitting for a penultimate level, as it takes about 15 minutes to beat it due to consisting of a crapton of small bricks.
* NonStandardGameOver: Normally you'd lose a level by running out of balls, in which case the game would show "You Lost Your Balls!" Quitting the level by clicking "Level Select" instead shows "Surrendered!"
* RPGElements: What separates the game from regular ''Breakout'' is having level ups, gold, and upgrades, with bars also having HP.
* ShowsDamage: Enemies turn more and more transparent as they are damaged.
* WickedWitch: The first boss is a typical witch with skin that alternates between white and green that throws fireballs at your bar.
* YouAreAlreadyDead: If you lose your regular ball but still have a ghost ball or a few left, if there are more lines of bricks than you have balls or if it's clear they have too much HP to be broken, face it, you've lost.
