** The E3 2014 trailer confirms that Nintendo themed costumes will be included in the game as unlockables, allowing Bayonetta to dress as [[Franchise/SuperMarioBros Princess Peach]], [[Franchise/TheLegendOfZelda Link]], and [[Franchise/{{Metroid}} Samus Aran]] (Varia Suit, not Zero Suit). In addition, wearing these costumes will also alter certain sound effects to be ones of those respective franchises (ring collecting will be accompanied by the "coin" sound from Mario, and unlocking a door will have the famed Zelda "puzzle solved" sound).

* ImportantHaircut: Bayonetta now sports one of these, but WordOfGod states that it's only because [[FanNickname Bayo]] is adventurous and would always be changing her look.
** Even Jeanne's sporting long hair.

* {{Summon Bigger Fish}}: Just like in the first game, Bayonetta is fond of summoning a demon bigger than the angel/enemy she wants to take down. During the E3 demo, however, the one she summons, Gomorrah, unfortunately breaks from her control and becomes the next boss fight.
* {{Summon Magic}}: Bayonetta's new Umbran Climax ability allows her to temporarily summon demons to deal heavy damage.
* {{Traintop Battle}}: Bayonetta fights a boss on top of a fast moving train in the E3 demo.

* WhipItGood: It seems Bayonetta will be able to do this. What, you say she already had a whip in the first game? Well this time, she has a whip attached for ''both feet''.

** Fortitudo also seems to have been revived, despite Bayonetta handing his ass to him severely. (Granting, he got one in the first game too.)

** The boy from the most recent [[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o09zRJNpmI4 trailer]] has necklace that looks very similar to [[Franchise/YuGiOh the Millennium Puzzle]] not to mention his fighting style has him using cards.

* BadassInDistress: The E3 2013 trailer suggests that [[TheRival Jeanne]] will be taken captive at some point.
