''Arzea'' is a {{Metroidvania}} made in UsefulNotes/AdobeFlash by Arkeus released in 2012. You play as a wizard who initially doesn't have many spells at his disposal, but you can use them once you find them to combat enemies. Other upgrades to things like life and jump height can be found as well, which will all help him go back home.
----
!!This game provides examples of:
* AbsurdlyHighLevelCap: The most difficult achievement earned for reaching level 45, which should be enough to beat the game. Higher levels let you destroy normally invincible enemies. As of 2021, the highest level on Kongregate for this game is [[NumberOfTheBeast 666]].
* AchievementSystem: There are 21 achievements to earn, for reaching a certain level, finding things, and more.
* BattleThemeMusic: Run into a boss room and the game's music changes into a more frantic theme.
* DiscOneFinalBoss: You face the evil wizard who is responsible for this early on, but the game's far from over, you're only getting the turquoise key after this fight.
* DoubleJump: Finding the double jump orb lets you do this function.
* {{Fireballs}}: The first spell you get lets you shoot fireballs. You can charge it to shoot three at once.
* HeartContainer: Each heart orb increases your maximum health by one heart.
* NoSell: The circular enemies who first appear in the southwest areas are immune to damage from spells that don't correspond to their color (for example, blue ones can only be hurt with the Douse spell).
* RingMenu: Pressing shift brings up a menu of spells which is ring-shaped.
* SavePoint: Each save crystal reached recovers your health and saves the game in that location, also fullfilling the role of a checkpoint.
