History Tropers / Yomegami

* LetsPlay/{{Chuggaaconroy}}: He's funny, he's informative, he's not a terrible player, and he plays the sorts of games I tend to be interested in. Not a whole lot to say, really.
* LetsPlay/TheRunawayGuys: These people are really freaking funny. I'll admit I'm not the biggest fan of Jon constantly winning all the time, but he tends to earn his victories so it's not really such a big deal. While Chugga's the only individual member I actually follow on a regular basis, I do sometimes look at LetsPlay/NintendoCapriSun or LetsPlay/ProtonJon. They're good in and of themselves, but their repetoire of games often cover things I'm not interested in.

I'm generally someone who won't be a bother until bothered herself, but I [[SuffersNewbiesPoorly suffer newbies badly]] (ironically enough) and have a low tolerance for idiocy. Ultimately, how I act around you depends on my perception of you: I can be anywhere from a really nice girl to a really big {{Jerkass}}.

* CrossPlayer: In real life, I'm obviously biologically male. Yet about 99% of my characters are female (and a lot of the ones who aren't are either genderless or not human), my avatars often depict females, and I always pick the female option in the games that have it. Turns out there might be a good reason for this.

* [[NiceGuy Nice Girl]]: Generally speaking.

I am Yomegami (usually D.L. Yomegami - the "D.L." stands for "Dark Lord"). I'm a gamer who plays any games he happens to like, although I do have a few franchises I'm particularly fond of (see the folders below). Due to being ''absurdly'' shy, I'm more a lurker than anything. I mostly stick around just for the Wiki and the On-topic Conversations, but I might pop into the Roleplaying, Video Games, and Writer's Block forums from time to time.

* VideoGame/{{Creatures}}: Probably the series I've been with the longest. I've been playing all of the original games for years (though I can't say I'm liking the look of Creatures Online thus far), as well as being an old member of the community around them (where I go by the username "Grendel Man") ''and'' being one of the top developers (I've made well over a hundred mods for the games at this point). I like open-ended games, and the scientific aspect of them is really appealing to me. I haven't been playing them very much lately, but I'll always have a soft spot for them.

* [[ClingyJealousGirl Clingy Jealous Guy]]: Regrettably, I still haven't quite gotten the hang of the idea that people are allowed to have friends besides me, to the point it's part of the reason why I'm still largely friendless. I'll get close to someone, then get the idea they like other people more than me, burn that bridge, and go back to the square one. For what I hope are obvious reasons, I'm trying to change this. Also, I'm definitely more clingy than crazy, hence why I used the feminine trope as opposed to the masculine one.

* GenderBlenderName: Or gender blender username, rather. I've been told my username can translate into "God's Wife," which...wasn't my intention, to say the least. I find this fact a little uncomfortable, but I've been Yomegami for too long for me to feel comfortable changing it.

* NiceGuy: Generally speaking.

* Franchise/ShinMegamiTensei: What initially got me into this series was the focus on mythology and finding the central conflict interesting, and what kept me was seeing just how interesting the combat was compared to other turn-based [=RPGs=]. That being said, it's yet another series I've only experienced via YouTube and reading articles about on this site, although I did pick up IV Apocalypse the other day and am likely to give it a shot at some point.
