If such dog-kicking hasn't been established as in-character for the villain, hateable, and one that I personally consider off-limits in my own writing. More often than not, it is just makes me roll my eyes.a piece of shock value, and the same narrative effect can often be achieved with less disgusting methods.

* BritishHumour: I'm English, and I have a very dry wit, usually defaulting to SarcasmMode and having a penchant for BlackComedy. You can tell through the narration of my books. My online persona takes this up to eleven, being a hell of a lot more comedically smug and edgy.

* FourTemperamentEnsemble: Phlegmatic/Melancholic IRL. I have trouble emoting at times, but generally remain calm and rational, while keeping up a good humour. I like to replace the Melancholic with Sanguine in my online persona, though. It's funnier that way.

Added DiffLines:

* SlidingScaleOfIdealismVersusCynicism: While very pessimistic in my day-to-day life, my stories tend to lean more towards the former side of the spectrum. Even my most cynical story, Literature/TheSpectrumGame, has idealistic undertones.
* SlidingScaleOfSillinessVersusSeriousness: Here, my stories hover somewhere in the middle, leaning slightly towards Silly. They aren't stupid or complete parodies, they tend to have attempts at deep, serious storylines, and I definitely do my research on the subject matter, but at the same time, they're very comedic worlds of snark, and two of the three I'm currently working on have NoFourthWall.

** The HundredPercentAdorationRating trope when used on a character who fails to deliver on the other end of the screen. For me, it just strikes me as the author trying to shill a character who can't actually stand on their own merits.
** KickTheDog, when done poorly, is just a lame way to make the villain hateable. If such dog-kicking hasn't been established as in-character for the villain, it just makes me roll my eyes.

* LawfulGood: The alignment I tend to get on most online alignment tests. But it's strange. Upon reflection, I've found that I can easily call myself Lawful and Good separately, but actively identifying as LawfulGood feels...weird.
