* EthicalSlut: It's more of an InformedAttribute, since I'm fairly conservative in my own sex life. But let's just say I have little respect for rigid socially constructed norms of sexuality and gender roles and believe-as long as nobody gets hurt, physically or emotionally- what people do with their bodies is no one else's damn business.

Also, I once literally talked for three hours on the social constructions of race and masculinity, language, existentialist themes, and AlternateCharacterInterpretation of ReservoirDogs. * GeekyTurnOn: At least twice guys have come up to me after a philosophy class to debate with me ([[IncompatibleOrientation barking up the wrong tree, boys]]) and I first realized my former FoeYay nemesis was now my VitrolicBestBud for life after we argued about the epistemological theories of Immanuel Kant for two hours. I knew then our friendship was eternal.

* GuiltyPleasure: Fanfiction, Glee, LadyGaga....this website.
* HollywoodAtheist: Averted. I rant about the religious right pretty viciously and come off as a HollywoodAtheist quite often, but I have studied most of the main world religions in academia and read many of the holy texts. I find it all quite fascinating. And I'm not really an atheist...I'm more of an open-minded skeptic and I enjoy debating theological philosophy. Basically, you respect me, and I shall respect you, and all will be well :)

* IfItsYouItsOkay: Zachary. Quinto. I wouldn't kick Tim Roth out of my bed, either...

* LipstickLesbian:...kinda. I'm not girly, but not exactly butch either. Androgynous, maybe.
* ManiacPixieDreamGirl: Averted HARD. At first glance I fit the basic stereotypes, but in terms of what my goals are, my philosophies, and how I interact with other people, I am not this trope at all. I've never been the type to really "save" anybody. I was mistaken for this at least twice, but I'm afraid those people got a truly rude awakening when they discovered I'm not at all what they wanted me to be. In a Karmic twist, I had my own ManiacPixieDreamGirl and was deeply disillusioned with her as well.

* YuriFan:...at times. I don't like SlashFic because it [[FetishFuel turns me on]]([[NotThatTheresAnythingWrongWithThat not that there is anything wrong with that]]). It just happensmost of the pairings I like turn out to be same-sex by default, whether it's canon gay pairings like [[{{Skins}} Naomily]] or [[BuffyTheVampireSlayer Tara/Willow]] or slash pairings. I didn't even realize I shipped more slash than het until someone pointed it out to me. I'm also interested in queer theory (and postmodernism in general.) However, I also ship several het pairings ([[HarryPotter Lily/Snape]] was my first OTP) if I like the characters and it doesn't feel cliche.
