** The main focus of the 2.0.3 update was the reworking the lootrunning system. Prior to this update, all loot chests were serverside, so everyone was able to loot a chest as long as it was visible and other players could snipe you as you were trying to reach a Tier 3 or 4 chest. The update changes the chests to all be client-sided and for their contents to be based on the last time you personally opened up the chest, and the chest's contents would be filled with more loot the longer it was left unchecked, meaning players could gain more loot from opening chests in obscure areas. This also led to a system being created that allowed you to gain perks and obtain better rewards for doing lootruns.

*** Besides this, the update replaced Lost Sanctuary, a dungeon which wasn't liked among the community, didn't make sense considering its placement on the map and had [[TheScrappy one of the worst bosses in terms of both gameplay and lore]], with The Timelost Sanctum, which not only fit its location of being in Time Valley, but also sports a unique appearance to better set itself apart from other dungeons and rewrote the boss' being reimagined into something more interesting and consistent.

Any characters that the player didn't complete the quest with can also use the gemstone (so long as they aren't an [[ChallengeRun Ironman]] character) to unlock the raid without having to do the quest again.

* AuthorsSavingThrow:
** Due to how some players found the minecart segment of ''The Canary Calls'' to be difficult, you are given the option to skip it if you fail enough times.
** Prior to 2.0, ''Recipe for Disaster'' gave the player a book that had the coordinates for each ingredient they are tracking down listed on it, leading to the player having to stop and check the book every now and then for the coordinates. The 2.0 Update revamped it so you can set a beacon to track the ingredient you are currently searching for along with marking whether you obtained it or not.
** Originally, ''The Hero of Gavel'' had a room that involved you [[spoiler:(and Gurix assuming he's still alive)]] traversing across trapped tiles to reach a beacon(s) that will activate a teleporter to the other side of a chasm. The issue with this one part is that [[spoiler:if Gurix is still alive, he will get bugged and repeatedly teleport to the player, even when the player is asking him to stay put. This would eventually culminate in him dying to a trap, sometimes to one he was nowhere near, [[UnintentionallyUnwinnable thus making the quest impossible to complete without Gurix dying]]]]. In the 2.0 update, this entire section was changed to have a few enemies and an easy to do parkour segment.
