* AuthorExistenceFailure: Creator/SirTech did not survive to see ''Wizardry 8'' published; the Sir-Tech that released ''Wizardry 8'' renamed themselves to that name for the sole purpose of getting Sir-Tech's name on the box before release.

* TheWikiRule: The [[http://wizardry.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page Wizardry Wiki]].

** Sadly it never made it to any of the Atari computers (8 or 16-bit).

* PortOverdosed: The original 1981 game was ported to practically every computer then in existence and several after. Additionally, its unexpected popularity in Japan led to several console ports as well.
