* ExecutiveMeddling: Pimp C was not fond of the way Jive reworked tracks from ''The Southern Way'' to avoid having to clear samples when it came time to release their major label debut, ''Too Hard to Swallow''.
* GenrePopularizer: While they didn't do anywhere near as much as Music/OutKast did to establish the South, they were still very much responsible for creating and codifying a lot of the Southern sound and helped spearhead the movement either way.
