** ScrewedByTheNetwork: The first sign of trouble was Bandai discontinuing the toyline. The next was when CN, after promising the team 52 episodes, [[ILied proceeded to break their promise]] shortly before the toyline was announced to be dead.

* FanNickname: The Queen of Thundera's name is never mentioned or credited, but she was unofficially named Leona by the staff.
* IKnewIt: The [[spoiler: death of Lion-O's mother in childbirth]] was one of the major fan theories from the very beginning.

* TheOtherDarrin: Leo is voiced by Creator/WillFriedle in his first appearance because of Lion-O reliving events of the past through Leo. "Birth of the Blades" has Creator/JasonMarsden voicing him, and this is likely what Leo's actual voice sounds like. This is something of a CastingGag, since Will and Jason are good friends.

** Larry Kenney (the original voice of Lion-O from the '85 cartoon) tells Lion-O to let him show off what the Sword of Omens can do "in the proper hands." We can now only hope if its reruns on Toonami have been successful in garnering a second season.
