*** 2023 Colosseum sees a decent amount of segment reshuffling. A ''VideoGame/PokemonStadium'' minigames segment got changed to ''VideoGame/Kirby64TheCrystalShards'' minigames due to issues with the N64; this turns into a joke with everyone in the segment insisting they're playing Pokémon. Pokémon Stadium eventually becomes the first game of Chaos Fortune Cookie once it gets fixed.

* CowboyBebopAtHisComputer: A couple of these happen during the ''VideoGame/MarioPartyDS'' playthrough. Most prominently, the Guys assume that the Grab Bag item works the same as the Item Bag from ''Mario Party 3'' and ''4'', giving three random items; in actuality, it always gives you the same three items (a Star Pipe, Block Sensor, and Triple Dice Set). As a result, the guys assume the item is bad and don't buy it when it would actually be a good idea.[[note]]Chugga does buy one on Kamek's Library, but doesn't realize that after you buy the bag, you have to use it from your inventory on one turn to open it before you can use the items; he buys it on the ''next-to-last turn'', rendering it useless.[[/note]] Also, Chugga states that, on the DK's Stone Statue board, you can only buy up to 5 stars at a time; in reality, you can buy as many stars as you have the coins for. This one is actually proven wrong during the game.

* PromotedFanboy: Emile, Masae, and Adriana are big fans of ''WebAnimation/{{RWBY}}'', with the latter even covering some of its songs on Jules' channel. In Colosseum Direct, they (alongside the rest of their friends) had the privilege of playing ''VideoGame/AnimalCrossingNewHorizons'' with Lindsay Jones, voice of Ruby.

* OldShame:
** The Guys don't seem to like remembering the first Thrown Controllers panel due to all the technical difficulties.
** They also don't really like how ''Mario Party 3'' turned out in terms of their commentary. Jon remembers it as his least-favorite project thanks to aforementioned CreatorBreakdown. Emile also hates how [[IHatePastMe he behaved towards Jon]] in that collab, finding most of the jokes in it cringeworthy or outright cruel, and the only thing from it that still makes him laugh is Wario's 1-Coin Duel.
