* KeepCirculatingTheTapes: The first season was released on DVD but that has long since gone out of print, the same can be said for ''[[WesternAnimation/BillyAndMandysBigBoogeyAdventure Big Boogey Adventure]]'''s DVD, several episodes were released either on Cartoon Network Holiday Compilations or as extras on other [=DVDs=]. Other than that, you had to rely on recordings from the Cartoon Network broadcasts and hope those wouldn't be taken down due to copyright. Thankfully, the entire series (sans ''Billy & Mandy’s Big Boogey Adventure'', the ChristmasSpecial, and ''Underfist'') is available on iTunes, Creator/PrimeVideo, and, as of 2021, Creator/HBOMax. The show's first two seasons were also on Netflix, but are no longer there.

** While most of the cartoon has aged gracefully, it was very much a product of the mid-2000s, and that is reflected in a number of things. The humor and tone are like ''WesternAnimation/InvaderZim'' taken UpToEleven, with plenty of gore, toilet humor, and the absurd brand of comedy popular in that era, and that's not to mention some of the one-off episode gags. Eris was a 90s valley girl for her debut, for instance. The ''Wrath of the Spider Queen'' used the [[Film/SpiderManTrilogy Sam Raimi Spider-Man]] movie font as a selling point. One episode has Grim dealing with a Windows 98 pastiche computer, complete with dial-up internet.

* OldShame; Creator/VanessaMarshall has distanced herself from her role as Irwin, saying that an African-American actor should have voiced him.

** For the ''Codename: Kids Next Door'' crossover, Mandy was originally going to torture Numbuh 1 by forcing him to watch ''WesternAnimation/SheepInTheBigCity''. While ''Sheep'' creator Mo Willems approved of the idea and CN's legal dept. had cleared any licensing issues, it was eventually dropped because the executives felt that ''Sheep'' was too obscure for the audience to know. It was later changed to ''WesternAnimation/EvilConCarne'', but it was still considered too obscure, so the gag was changed to Nigel being tortured by Fred Fredburger.

** Atoms had at one point [[https://maxwellatoms.tumblr.com/post/660003543871324160/if-krampus-had-been-more-well-known-when-you-were planned to use Krampus]] in the ChristmasSpecial, but since Krampus ''looks'' like a devil, he knew Cartoon Network would never allow it, so we got Vampire Stanta instead.

* RealLifeWritesThePlot: Part of the eeriness in "BRAINS" is how its performed in an odd off key. This happened purely on accident. Voltaire has even commented that he hasn't' quite been able to match it since.

** Grim and Sperg have a few scenes together throughout the series; both of them are voiced by Greg Eagles.

He attempted to do a Swedish accent, modelled after Bengt Ekerot's portrayal of Death in ''Film/TheSeventhSeal'', but it came out as Jamaican, which [[ThrowItIn everyone thought worked much better]].

** Likewise, Vanessa Marshall was unaware that Irwin was African-American when she started voicing the character, having only seen a line drawing beforehand, which led to the writers incorporating more jive talk in his dialogue.
